Thank you for your inquiry, Katherine!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire range is displaying an error code of "F11". An "F11" error code stands for a shorted keypad I would recommend performing a reset on your range. You can do that by flipping off the household circuit breaker for at least ten minutes. If that does not correct your issue it could be a possible problem with your EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or wiring harness. Hopefully this information is helpful for you. -Matt

SOURCE: I have a Tappan gas stove. Don't know how old the

Takes about 15 minutes to fix. You will need a philips head screwdriver, pair of scissors and a butter knife. What you're going to do is cut the wire to the beeper. Your clock will still function.

Start by removing the glass faceplate that encloses your clock. By removing the 2 screws on either side of the metal housing, you can remove the faceplate (you'll have to remove the clock's pushbuttons, but that isn't hard, either. I used some spring-loaded pliers to get a good purchase, then pulled straight back. Oh yeah. You need pliers, too. Don't worry, you won't break the buttons; they'll snap out and push back in, later). Use the butter-knife to carefully work the glass out of the metal frame. The actual clock is secured by a couple more screws, which are easily removed, once you've removed the abovementioned faceplate.
[The clock, btw, is made by Fridgidaire (part # AP2125434 ), in case you want to replace it. Costs more than $130(!)]
If you haven't already unplugged the stove, now is a good time. Do not touch the two metal connectors of the two most prominent wires on the back of the clock, when the unit is plugged in! Yes, it's the voice of experience, talking...
You will notice, when you're looking at the back of the clock unit, a small metal disc, enclosed in plastic. If you plug in the stove, and listen, you should hear the beeping coming from this area. There is a medium-sized hole in the middle of the plastic housing, allowing access to the metal disc. There are two very small wires, red and black, leading into the housing and attached to the disc in two places. One wire is attached to essentially the center part of the disc. The other wire (in my case, the black wire) is attached rather toward the outer edge of the metal disc. The outer edge is even a slightly different color, so you can identify the two parts. In my case, the sound was emitting from the outer edge, as opposed to the center portion of the disc. If you press a Q-tip against the center portion of the disc (thru the hole in the plastic housing), and the beeping continues, unchanged, the sound is probably coming from the outer edge. You can check by bending the Q-tip, and working the tip over to the edge of the metal disc--by applying pressure, you should hear the sound change, slightly.
Unplug the unit, and cut the wire that corresponds to the part of the disc the sound is coming from--that should solve the problem!

The electric stove I have is beeping f11 how do I stop it from beeping

I appreciate your inquiry, friend!

I see that you are having a difficult time with your Frigidaire range displaying an "F11" error code. That error code stands for a shorted keypad and I would recommend performing a reset on your range. You can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If you restore power and continue to receive an "F11" code you may need to replace the EOC (Electronic Control Panel) this is not a simple DIY job. I would recommend contacting a professional technician for proper disassembly and repairs to be completed. I hope this is helpful information. -Matt

How to fix frigidaire wall oven beeping error message f11

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire wall oven is beeping and showing an F11 error code. Typically an F11 error code states that there is a shorted key, or a button has been detected as pressed for a long time. I suggest hard resetting your appliance, by cutting the power at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. While you are resetting your oven, make sure to wipe down the control panel. The panel is very sensitive and could be detecting something that has splashed or spilled onto it, even dust. When you bring power back to your appliance you will need to start by setting the clock. Turn your oven on any cycle at any temperature. If you are still receiving an F11 error code, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Dr error message

Hello Herb Reinhart - If the range previously displayed DR and now showing F11, it typically indicates that the unit has detected a shorted keypad. Since you have already try resetting the unit by unplugging it and issue persists, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

Pf code on frigidaire professional series free standing range

"PF" indicates the electronic control detected a Power Failure.
This could have been caused a brief power outage OR may be an indication that the connections to the oven, either at the stove or at the plug are loose.

Have a magic chef oven, f1 display after self cleaning, stove top works fine, any thoughts

F-1 is a fault code.

Disconnect the power plug or turn range power off at circuit breaker. Wait a couple of minutes, then plug the range in or flip the range circuit breaker to ON.

Oven control beeps & displays any F  code error (for example
F11) - Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Press
CLEAR/OFF to clear the display & stop beeping. Reprogram
oven. If fault recurs, record fault number. Press CLEAR/OFF
contact an authorized service agent.
