I can't add airtime to my old phone that says unregistered sim and device not found.

Sounds like service was deactivated on the phone for too long. Contact the service provider to either reactivate the Sim or get a replacement sim

Tracfone customer service

you must contact the customer service for the phone and tell them you want to activate the phone that you already have and they will have to send you a new sim card. You will not be able to activate the phone unless you get the sim card from them. Your service time would have expired but if you purchased double airtime minutes for life you will still have that honored. You will have to purchase more airtime in order to have more service days.
