You can dry an iphone out ( i have done many ) take the back off and look carefully at the main board. you will see where the water has dried..use a brush ( paint brush/blusher brush ) and brush the board with it to get all the circuts clean shut down your phone. from turned off phone hold in the home button and turn it on ( hold down both power and home button ) keep them in for around 5 seconds then release the power button but continue to hold the home button ( you will hear a "ding" on laptop ) then release the home button ...your phone will be dark ( if you see the apple logo youve missed your chance so turn off anf try again ) do all this while its plugged into laptop and itunes is running ) once you get the timing right itunes will "find your phone in DFU mode . try to resore then. iphones are more resilient then we think, ive known them to be dead for weeks then suddenly come back to life...hope this helps

The phone is dead you need to replace its main board

if it got wet salts have built up perhaps inside

sell it as spares or repairs and buy another iphone if you like them

perhaps something waterproof next time ???

I bought an iPhone 4s and the person i bought it from forgot her itunes account. so how can I put my itunes account on it so I can use it? Pls help!

You can't use her iTunes account or your purchases would go on her credit card.

I would really recommend that you do a Factory Reset. This clears all her stuff off, so you can put your on. Keeping her apps on will also cause problems as many will be linked to her account. You will also find doing a Factory Reset will give you lots of memory back and speed up the phone. I went from 4S to 6 because of the lack of speed.

Click Settings, General, Scroll to the bottom, RESET. Follow the instructions.

Need to put back to factory seems to have a password that is stopping this

That password is the iTunes Apple ID making sure that you are the owner of the phone. When you get an iPhone you set up an iTunes account with credit card details so you can buy apps and music.

Also so going back to Factory Settings is done from ITunes program on the computer.

Why does my lockbox app not open.

The app may have been corrupted. Try removing the app from your phone and iTunes completely and reinstalling it from the app store. If the app continues to not open, read reviews on the app store to see if others are experiencing similar issues because it could be a bad update from the application developer.

If neither of these works or is the case, then you may have a problem with your phone and may need to restore the phone to factory default settings using iTunes restore funtion.

Hey guys.. I got an iPhone 5 clone and want to reset Factory Settings but don't know how! please help asap! Moreover i want to know how to delete applications on it :)

You can restore iPhone to factory settings with iTunes. iTunes enables users to back up data to iTunes and restore iPhone to factory settings. Before you start restoring iPhone to factory settings, please note that you need to install the latest version of iTunes on your PC or MAC. Then go to Settings > iCloud to turn off Find My iPhone.

1. Plug iPhone into the computer with the USB cable. The iTunes on your computer will automatically launch. If not, double-click the icon to start it.
2. Click the name of your iPhone at the upper right corner of iTunes, and then the information of your iPhone will be shown. Click the "Restore iPhone" button in the window to start.
3. iTunes will ask whether you want to back up iPhone before restoring. You'd better choose "Yes" for the reset will erase the contents in your iPhone. Then iTunes will start restoring your iPhone to factory settings.

When i downloaded a app and then recharged my phone gave a itunes with a charger sign on it.I now have no phone

This sign means you need to connect your iPhone to your computer and open iTunes. If the phone is still not responsive after connecting you may want to try a hard reset.

Hold the power and the home button down until the device shuts down completely and the apple logo appears.

If a hard reset doesn't solve the issue, then you may want to try and do a factory restore by connecting to iTunes and selecting the factory restore option. Please note, doing a factory restore will remove all apps and data stored on your device.

Hope that helps!

Cant rest my password ??

To reset the password on your phone you will need to restore your iphone back to factory settings which means wiping all content from the phone ( as well as the password)

Ive wrote below on how to restore your phone, you will need to restore your iphone as a new iphone as restoring from a back up will bring back your passcode

Hope this helps!

( Please Leave Feedback )

Use the following steps to restore your device:
  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
  2. Connect your device to your computer.
  3. Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
  4. Select the Summary tab.
  5. Select the Restore option.
  6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
  7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).
  8. Once the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up:
iPhone only: For the iPhone only, after a restore, the iPhone displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. Keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or you see "iPhone is activated." If iTunes does not have an Internet connection, you cannot complete this step.

  9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. Once your device is restored and-in the case of the iPhone-in the process of activating, you should be able to see the following in iTunes:
Select set up as a new iPhone to complete the process
