Stop in a True Value or Ace, they can look it up. It's basically a lawn mower motor.

Can I use SAE 30 And 10w 30 mower oil

If only topping up the oil level then a mineral engine oil 10w30 would be fine to use, but if topping up is more than the current oil in the engine then a replacement and drain would be recommended as soon as reasonably possible as not to effect any remaining warranty

If out of warranty then it is at the owners risk and own choice

Using slightly different oil grades is far better than running an engine at a low level and risk oil starvation.

What type of engine oil should i use to topup my honda crv '05

Honda usually recommends 5w-20 oil, but if it has over 80,000 miles I usually use 5w-30. You should top off with whatever kind of oil was used at the last oil change (top regular oil with regular, synthetic with synthetic, etc...)

What is the 2 stroke petrol mix for a garden strimmer, Ryobi 25cc PLT 2543 please?

hi there keithprobert

the ratio to use if using top quality 2 stroke oil is 50:1 that is 20 mills of 2 stroke oil per 1.0 litre of petrol that you mix.

but if not using top quality 2 stroke oil use ratio 25:1 that is 40 mills of 2stroke oil per 1.0 litre of petrol that you mix.

Hi how much gear box oil do i need to put in my 2005 ktm exc

change the transmission oil run the engine warm and set up the motorcycle

on a horizontal surface. Remove the oil drain screw and drain used oil

into a container. Clean the magnet of the oil drain screw and reinstall oil drain

screw with seal. Pour in 0.7 litres engine oil (e. g. Motorex Top Speed 4T

15W50), replace plug and check engine for leaks.

TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH WILL BE SUBJECT TO EXCESSIVE WEAR AND TEAR,

IF YOU USE TOO LITTLE OR LOW GRADE OIL. USE ONLY HIGH-GRADE OIL (E. G.
MOTOREX TOP SPEED 4T 15W50).

When I start the engine first thing in the morning it makes a clattering sound, until it runs for a minute

the clattering is most likely valves rattling until the oil gets up to top of engine, recommend change the oil and filter, use a good filter like fram oil filter,i've always used castrol 30 weight oil in winter, then summer 40 weight, also recommend you add lucas oil treatment,1 bottle, add with your oil change for top end lubrication, the oil stays and clings onto valves and adds a whole lot more of top end lubrication to your engine than just regular oil.it's just a treatment,i have a 1994 ford explorer with 450.000 miles on it.just trying to see how far i can go with original motor.but i always use castrol oil, fram oil filter and always add lucas oil treatment every time i change my oil.thank you for choosing fixya.com good luck!

Dose the engine oil top up the gearbox oil in the toyota rava4 19

NO the engine oil only tops off the engine it self and the gear box uses a different oil and to top it off and check is different from the engine dip stick. Good luck and your manual should tell you when it's time to service your gear box oil.

Forks too hard .want to change oil but not sure what grade and how much to use.. what are the basic settings and how do i measure them??

hi mate use 5wt oil and the oil you can do from 80mm-130mm depending on your riding conditions i would do beetween this (105mm) basically take the forks off the clamps unscrew the top drain the old oil out and then you need a 17mm spanner and below the top nut there is a bolt you need to hold this bolt with 17mm spanner then unscrew the top take the top completely off then pull the springs out once done fully extend the forks out as the upper part can slide down then fill up with oil until it reaches 105mm from the top i reccomend using a ruler and just slide it inside then when it reaches 10.5cm/105mm re buildmoz-screenshot.jpg i will send a few picture to demonstrate
