Question about Saeco Odea Go

How to fix a problem with the turbine on my Saeco Odea Go?

I disassembled the machine to clean it and when I assembled it again by mistake I put the connector of the flowmeter (turbine) only over 2 of the pins not over the 3 pins. The mashine stopped to brew coffee and when i opened it again I found the mistake and put the connector properly. But nothing changes. Everything is working except brewing coffee. In test mode all seemed well except that during the pump test the steam led is not blinking like it should because of the turbine. I think the improper connection of the turbine must not have damaged something in the mainboard. The turbine is clean and working. Just how to make the mashine to read the data from it again?

I replaced the turbine and now everything is working fine. I just cant imagine that my mistake can damage the pump.

During water pump test the led flashing with the speed of the turbine rotate.Tell us if during the test if water running (I think that there is no damage from the ''mistake'' you made). Take a look at the tubes of the turbine and make sure that you have put correct input - output.

Testimonial: "During the pump test the led is not blinkink with the speed of the turbine rotate. It is firm steady light and no blinking. The pump is working and the water comes out from the steam valve. No damage. And yes. The tubes of the turbine are in their correct state."

When led is not blinkink means that the machine does not see the rotation of the turbine. The cable of the turbine has two sides, the one goes on the turbine and the other on the board.Check if it is ok.If you can ad a picture of the turbine on the machine it could be very helpfull.

SOURCE: Saeco Odea Go - slow to brew coffee, comes out of steam valve

The steam valve needs to be replaced, because the pins have been damaged from high pressure buildup, could have been caused from a very fine grind. You can also check the screen in the brew unit that might be blocked and causing the high pressure backup.

SOURCE: I Have descaled my Saeco Odea Go but still it doesnt brew coffee

That is serious, that means the grinder is jammed or not working. To check the components of the machine follow these instructions.
Press and hold the steam button and turn on the machine, when you see the lights going around in anticlockwise direction, release the button. Turn the coffee dial to the left and press the steam button, the grinder should turn. Dial on the right and pressing coffee ****. water pump runs. Press steam ****. brew group go up, dial 1/4 to left B/Group down.
If grinder not turning the motor is bad. Hope it will help to find out.

From your description we understand that your machines vital parts like water pump, grinder, group and gears, boiler, electronic board all are working fine since there is a final result the coffee.

The only problem you face is that due to long time use some coffee liquid have dry out layer by layer and have goggle the Teflon pipe of the plastic unions so the coffee cannot be deliver through to the coffee tap and as a result is ending in the coffee drugs drawer.

So you need to disassemble you machine and remove the Teflon pipe which is after the coffee croup and by using a thing metal wire like a paper clip or similar you can check the pipe and the plastic unions to find out where they are goggled from dry coffee. You can immerse them in boiling water from some minute so the dry coffee to dissolve and be removed completely. By this chance you can remove also the coffee group filters and also clean them with hot water.

We have here below the link with exploded parts view of your model which will help you find the parts and understand how your machine is constructed.

SOURCE: We've had our Saeco Incanto for about 2 years,

HI
I would suspect that the grinder has seperated. If you take out all the beans and look at the cork screw in the center, it won't be. It will be off to one side just a little. That is why you are not getting a good grind. the beans are going to the larger side and being chopped into large grinds. You might be able to take the grinder apart and snap it back together. Or it might be broken and it will have to be replaced. Email me if you need one.

I have a Saeco Odea Go and my puck in the dreg drawer are really wet and I have water leaking (brown so with coffee) under the dreg drawer. how I can fix it ?

I recently had this problem. I throughly cleaned and lubricated the brew group as directed by the manual. Apparently if the brew group doesn't move smoothly enough it won't grind the correct amount of beans. Try lubricating and then brewing 2-3 cups to have the machine recalibrate the grind amount.

Saeco Odea Giro - Clogged and coffee come out in water tray....

This has happened to our machine that we use for our youth group. We sent it in and they said it was clogged also. Not having a clue what they meant. It happened again and I figured it out. When you remove the brew group there is a hole just above it that dispenses into the brew group. Make sure it is not clogged. Give it a try Good Luck
