Try this;
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
A window will open showing you all the wireless devices that are already recognised by your computer. If the icon for this mouse is shown there then highlight it and click 'Remove Wireless Device'. Then click "Yes" (Sometimes removing a device and then reinstalling it fixes the problem)

NOW

Click on Add Wireless Device ( a new window will open and the computer will search for the device. When it finds the mouse an icon will appear. Highlight the icon and click Next
The computer will load the driver for the mouse.
Once this is done the mouse should be working OK.

Also check this:
Go to (>) Start>Control Panel>Bluetooth
Click on "Bluetooth Settings"
Place a tick in the box next to "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer > Apply > OK

How do I connect my Logitech wireless mouse to my computer

I use Logitech wireless mice and so does my wife. After a battery change you have to reconnect the mouse with the wireless receiver
. First push the button on the receiver, then push the button on the bottom of the mouse. It should connect and you will be ready to go. If this doesn't get the mouse working, you may have to unplug the mouse, then plug it back in the USB port, then reconnect to the receiver. Hope that helps.

My optical mouse KU916AA isnt connecting to the USB receiver. I have fresh batteries in it, but im not sure what button to push.

Hi,

Go to this Microsoft article and read through: Microsoft kb838398

The steps here includes all troubleshooting you can use for response failures in wireless keyboard and mouse.

If the steps did not resolve your issue, try unplugging the receiver first and reboot the computer. Plug back the receiver and reboot again. This is to refresh the cmos of your wireless keyboard and mouse settings.

If all of these fails, your mouse is deemed defective.

Hope this works for you.

I have a microsoft wireless mobile mouse 3000 and i cant get it to connect. i have pushed every connect button in everyway i can think of and it still wont work

There are two possible reasons for this.
1. You may be having an issue with your USB receiver. The receiver may be not be seated properly in the USB slot or the slot you've plugged it into isn't working well with your receiver. Try moving the receiver to a couple of different USB ports and try reconnecting.
2. Your mouse may not be operating correctly. I think the simplest reason for this is that the battery is dead, which is extremely common when using wireless keyboards/mice. Check to make sure the batteries are fully charged.

Took aprt to clean because its been overheating, figured out the keyboard but now my mouse isnt working, suggestions??

I'm assuming you're using an external USB mouse, either wired or wireless (correct me if I'm wrong). Does the mouse work if you plug it into another USB port on the computer (or on another computer)? If so, it's probably that particular port that's bad, otherwise it's either the mouse or, if it's a wireless mouse, the USB receiver.

The hinge and mouse buttons don't work.

Perhaps mouse will operate correctly if: 1.- Install a fresh new battery 2.- Push down connecting buttons in mouse and receiver 3.- Plug in receiver in USB port 4.- Take off battery 5.- Push down the small button that protrudes where the receiver is placed at the bottom of the mouse. 6.- Release the button simultaneusly when installing back the battery Good luck!!! Chawah.

My wireless dell mouse isnt working I changed the batteries and still the cursor isnt moving?

there is usually some sort of connect button on both the mouse and then receiver unit that is plugged into the computer, sometimes you have to hold down the connect buttons on each unit simultaneously so that they will connect, i dont know if you have done this or not, otherwise it is always possible that you have a bad mouse, if this is one of those usb wireless mice try moving the usb receiver to a different port and let windows reinitialize it

Cordless Desktop EX110 Mouse isnt working

Computers wont recognise user errors. Just kidding. i had the same issue with mine. After some period of time it will begin to do what i call Freeze Response. Where the computer recognizes it's function is there, but the mouse is considerably frozen. this works for me. If you still have the Cd than unplug your mouse and reinstall it. if you reinstall it with the mouse in, it just fixes software errors.

Or

Turn your pc off, unplug your mouse. Take out the batteries. boot up your pc, wait till everything loads up into windows or MAC, plug in your mouse, put the batteries back in. And wait for it to automatically connect. if it does not hold the connect on mouse and press connect on receiver. You should be on your way hopefully.

The mouse or keyboard does not work at all
If your wireless mouse or keyboard is not working properly, check the following:
  1. The mouse is designed to enter a suspend mode after 20 minutes of inactivity. Try to reactivate the mouse by clicking the left mouse button.
  2. If the underside of the mouse has an on/off switch, make sure to set the switch to the "On" position.
  3. Restarting the computer may resolve the problem, at least temporarily, so that other troubleshooting steps can be applied.
  4. Make sure that the keyboard and the mouse are within 100 centimeters (39 inches) of the receiver. If the receiver is attached to a cord, position it so that it is on the same level surface.
  5. Verify that the batteries are correctly installed in the keyboard and mouse. If possible, use a fresh set of alkaline batteries.
  6. If the receiver is a USB receiver, unplug it, wait for five seconds, and then plug it back in. Wait about five more seconds and then test the mouse and keyboard again.
  7. Reset the keyboard and mouse connections :
Note: The following connection sequence must be completed within 60 seconds.
With the receiver plugged in, press and hold the Connect button on the receiver until the activity LED flashes.
Note: Some HP computers have receivers built into the front of the computer; such as TouchSmart 700 Series PCs and Digital Entertainment Centers. Look for a small Connect button built into the case. If you have a TouchSmart 500 or 800 Series PC, the receiver plugs into a USB port on the underside of the case and does not have a Connect button - skip this step.
