Cant get the new nabi dream tab to charge what do I do

SOURCE: Every time I try to charge the nabi xd the screen still stays black and it won't power up??

First check the charger is working. If you are using a usb cable use a short fat one (less resistance, so more power/amps).
Some times this is a batrery lockout. If you can figure out how to open the unit and unplug/replug the battery that could fix it.... Look to youtube for opening and pulling batrery.

SOURCE: We lost the charger for a few weeks when we found it now the nabi won't charge.

The charging cables are also quite finicky. If you are getting red/green flashing LED on the Nabi, be sure to turn it all the way off before charging. Also, wiggling the cable can get the unit to hold a red (charging) LED state - give it 10-15 seconds to determine if it is getting enough current to charge and the LED to settle.
