There is no power going to my microwave. The fuse is ok

Have you tested your plug outlet with another appliance? If not it could be your wall plug.If this OK then contact a technician in the yellow pages.

The reason why no one wants to repair inkjet printers is they are cheap and it is cheaper to buy a new one.

Wharfedale LCD2710HDAF no power to tv, checked cable and changed fuse a few times, new power lead? or is this a common problem?

Hi.

The power cord must be checked using a multimeter. The test is done reading impedance (ohms) between plug's prongs and contacts to TV power board.

If the power cord is OK and there is no power, then the problem is the power board inside the TV.

Regards.

Ginko.

We have Frigidaire 24 in. FDB1050REC dishwasher. The control panel has no power; no lights and nothing works. This problem started after a power outage. All circuit breakers in house ok and other outlets...

more than likely fuse is gone in plug. take dish washer out. change fuse in plug. if it doesnt work get extension lead and run it from a socket that definatly does work and plug washer into that. if nothing then its internal.

I have a Creative Gigaworks S700 (subwoofer) with no power out. LED off. Fuse ok.

first fuse as standard is in the plug to the power adapter. The second fuse is located at the back of the box where the power lead goes into. It is covered so look closely you just need something flat to open it. I have the S750 and that is what im basing this on but if the s700 is the same then you will find this helpful. Sorry did not notice this before.
Hope this helps.

Printer won't turn on...is plugged in and has been printing well.

hi, have you tried checking, changing the fuse in the plug.
check the lead is fitted correct.

as for the fuse is the printer running of mains lead or just of the usb lead let me know, if its mains the unplug the lead that goes to your comp and then try it with just the power lead plugged in to see if that makes the differance.

Check the mains lead works try it on something else if you can if its running off only the usb lead then the lead may be at fault.

Let me know then i can assist you further ok

My clarke compressor keeps blowing the fuse in the plug on start up. any ideas!!!! i`ve changed the lead and plug

if the compresor is tight it would blow fuses, or the starter capasitor is leaking,,, (below power)
but its more likley you are using the compresor on a long extension lead and the power drop in that lead is causing the problem,,,if this is so,, use a much thicker extension lead...2hp motor = 2600 wats? at start up,

Where do I find the blown fuse in an eMachine desktop? We were having flooring installed and the contractor's air compressor caused a power outage. After that my husband's computer has no power, the fan is...

Cooling fan to desktop suggests the first point of call is ok and that was the power lead fused at the plug.

The fuse is inside the power pack of the desktop unit. with power lead disconnected ope up case to desktop and seek out a fuse like the plug fuse only smaller and clear glass type. sometimes very obviously visible and sometimes within the power paert of the desktop behind metal plates and lots of screws to remove.

Before you do this check around inside you desktop to see if everything is seated properly as some things may of become loose if vibration has been near.

There is a power cable from the power pack to the board that my be loose check this.

Always stay clear of components if you power up unit with lid/case open. some have sensors to switch off unit if the case is open so check this is not the case also.

NO power, no lights, possibly there was a flash before it went of

The internal fuse is normally located very near the power plug socket and usually a Buss glass fuse, rated 5 amps? If you get to it, check the metal end for the rating. You have to remove the top cover to get at it...remember, the problem could be the fuse--or the power supply section has failed.--Rick

Sky box will not switch on

Hi
I know this sounds very obvious, is there power at the wall outlet?.
(In the UK,) has the fuse in plug top blown?.
If both above ok, check fuse inside sky box. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU MAKE SURE THE POWER LEAD IS REMOVED FROM THE SUPPLY. Remove screws from sky box cover and remove top, around where lead enters the unit you should find a glass fuse, if this has blown it should be replaced with identical value fuse as that which was originally fitted, failure to do this will cause ireversable damage.
Good luck
