If it's electric use chain oil or straight 30 weight for chain oil. I've never heard of a 4-stroke that would receive a separate motor oil. That leaves a 2-stroke. They always have gas mixed to oil(50 to 1, 40 to 1 or 32 to 1). See gas cap or owners manual for manufacturers recommendation. The fuel should be 90 octane and ethaol free if you want your engine to last. Th oil should be the best 2-stroke synthetic you can get your hands on. I use ether ECHO or Husquvarna. All others are sewage swill by comparison. Read your manual.

Do I mix the oil and gas together and pour it in the gas tank or do I pour the gas in the tank and the waverunner mix's the oil and gas together?

Mix the oil and gas together first.
Or you can add some gas into tank, then add some oil, then add more gas, then bit more oil ... so oil-gas mixture is uniform.

2 or 4 cycle oil for a Ranch King 6.0 lawn mower? What kind or type of oil should use?

If you mean oil for the crankcase use need 4 cycle oil Ususally 30 weight and don't over fill Most small engine do not even take a quart only about 20 oz.

If you mean to mix with gas ( I doubt this) but then you need 2 cycle oil depending on the mixture usually about 3 oz to a gallon of gas (3.2 oz / gal = 40:1 ratio, 2.5 oz/ =50:1)

Does a yamaha 2003 atv have four stroke engine?

Do you mix oil into the gas?? Is there a place to check the oil (a dip stick). Is there a special place to put 2 cycle oil for a self mixer?

If you don't mix the gas with oil and there is no special place to put 2 cycle oil, you have a 4 cycle engine.

If there is a place on the side to check the oil level, you have a 4 cycle engine.

Next question will be ... how do I check the transmission oil? If you have a 4 cycle engine, the engine oil is also the transmission oil ... rule of thumb.

You are showing a picture of a motorcycle and asking a question about a ATV, but not mentioning a model number. I don't think Yamaha is currently making a 2 stroke engine for their ATV's (there are several sizes - not including assorted models for sale around the world ... and I don't know where you are writing from (and please don't say).

Maybe the best thing for you to do is call the Yamaha dealer on Monday morning and tell them the model you have and ask the question 2 stroke or 4 stroke. There will be no more guessing on your part then.

Make sense?

Thanks for your question @ FixYa.com

With a 4 cycle weedeater by mix of oil gas should be with 4 cycle oil correct?

If you have a 4 cycle engine you should have oil in the crankcase and you don't need oil in the gas...now if your engine is 2 cycle which it probably is... then you need to mix 2 cycle oil with the gas...usually about 40 or 50 to 1...

PP 22inch 625 series 190cc - What Gas/Oil mix should i be using?

I think your mower has a 4 cycle engine. That means the oil goes in the crankcase and the gas goes in the gas tank. No oil mixing needed! If you look at the top of the mower you should see two caps. Each one will be marked with what goes in them.

The oil should be 30 weight non-detergent oil. Available at your local car parts store or Lowes or Home Depot.

Gas is just plain old pump regular.

I need to know the oil & gas mix ratio and what weight oil for the mix

On the container of 2 cycle oil you buy, it will have a mixing chart. 50:1 (means 50 parts of gas to 1 part of oil) usually uses around 4 ounces of 2 cycle oil to each gallon of gasoline. The other compartment is for bar & chain oil, that is what lubricates the bar & chain.

I just bought a Weed Eater 22" gas push mower. Do I mix oil with the gas to run, as I do not see an oil input? p.s. I purchased this at a yard sale.

If it has a dipstick or plug to check the oil in the engine you do NOT mix gas and oil.
Use regular unleaded gas only and use 30 weight detergent oil in the engine crankcase if it is low.
