Question about Maytag Washing Machines
When starting a load of laundry I close the door, press power to turn on the washer, then press start. The door lock engages, the machines makes a slight rotation then the machine just clicks (the clicking sounds as though it is something near the locking mechanism). You cannot do anything after this. The door remains locked, and the machine only beeps when any buttons are pressed, it will not power off or anything. After powering off at breaker and using manually unlocking we start the process over again. I will eventually start a cycle. Sometimes right away, other times after 10-15 times of turning off at breaker, manual unlock, restart. Any ideas to what could be causing? Repairman has already replaced three parts and it is still not working!
