We do not know the make model of that heater but most you need to push in and hold the pilot button till it lights and hold for a few seconds till the main burner will come on

No spark visible through mica glass inspection cover when piezo igniter button is operated.

Piezo igniters can fail for a few reasons. Often they short or spark in the wrong place. Sometimes they can be corroded. Try cleaning it and see if it will spark. Otherwise, you might need to replace it or just use matches. Is your heater under warranty?

My 1999 Chevy Suburban K1500 cranks; but will not start.

You have to determine whether there is no fuel supply or no spark supply. Disconnect one plug wire and ground it to the engine and crank the vehicle. There should be a visible spark and snapping heard. If spark ok check fuel pressure on the fuel rail with a guage. Should be 55-60lbs.

GE furnace pilot won't ignite

Check for 24 volts at the pilot valve on the gas valve, if there is voltage, take an amp reading, if you get amperage it's trying to work, see if pilot orifice is obstructed by webs etc. very common to see this.

I have a Dyna Glo-pro multi fuel heater. When I turn it on the ingitor starts working and than the fan comes on for a few seconds. Then the system shuts down because it willnot ignite. The tank is full and...

Since it does not ignite, Please check the ignition transformer. This have a secondary voltage of about 20,000 to 25,000 volts, enough to make your igniter
spark, thus, causing the atomized fuel to ignite and burn the fuel. So, please include igniter high voltage cable for ground leak. Ground leak is visible as line sparks when your heater is switched on. If your ignition transformer does not produce sparks at the
igniter, it means it needs to be replaced.
Have it done to make it work. Hope this will help you.

Check the exhaust for white smoke. Also, while the car is running, check the oil dipstick. If the oil on the dipstick is frothy like a milkshake, this along with the white smoke are indicators of a blown head gasket.

Ignition

This is a "probably". The reset button trips because the photocell fails to see a flame in the combustion chamber. That's its job.
Check the ignition device ( transformer, coil). See if 110v going in. If there is no spark coming out, replace it.
