Generally you just reverse the removal process. Place hole in door bottom over lower door hinge pin and place door in closed position. Insert top hinge in top hole---align hinge screw holes with holes in fridge cabinet and insert screws. Not sure what is giving you the problem. If you need more help post back brand and full model number so I can look it up.

How do I reattach handle on freezer door pull that has come unscrewed on French Samsung refrig

Many times the handle is slid on from one side or the other onto the screws. Try sliding the handle off by gently putting a screwdriver or putty knofe under the handle on the side that is still attached and pushing the handle sideways. This should remove the handle so you can remove the mounting screw and get it back on the door. then you can slide the door handle back on after getting the screw attached on the door again.

Putting door back on but hinge wont release to put back on

Hi Susan, this is AP! Thank you for your post.

I understand you are having trouble putting the door back on your Frigidaire wall oven. Without knowing exactly how you removed the door I cannot say with certainty how to reattach the door. However, when removing the door did you pull up the lock located on both hinge supports and engage it in the hinge lever hooks? You might have had to apply a little downward pressure on the door to pull the locks fully over the hinge lever hooks. Then grab the door by the sides and pull the bottom of the door up and toward you to disengage the hinge supports. If so, then to reattached the door grab the door by the sides; place the hinge supports in the hinge slots. Open the door to the fully opened position. Disengage the lock from the hinge lever hooks on both sides. Make sure the hinge supports are fully engaged before unlocking the hinge levers. Then close the oven door. There are instructions with images to remove and replace the oven door in the owner's manual. I hope this information proves helpful for you.

It looks like the silver handle is pushed onto the black plastic insert, which must be removed from the handle, fixed to the door and then the handle reattached.

WR51X10055 is the part number of the defrost heater and bracket assembly. Item #230 in the diagram. On this unit it is a plug in unit.

It is relatively easy to replace. Remove food from the freezer section, remove shelves, remove back panel. Unplug refrigerator. Defrost the unit by either leaving the door open to the freezer section or you can hurry it up with a hair dryer. After it is defrosted, plug in the new defrost unit, plug the frigerator back in and reattach the back panel, shelves and food.

We have a GE tfx22prxd aa side by side. There is water that runs out the bottom of freezer door. Happens about once or twice a day and leaves small puddle. There is a thin layer of ice laying on freezer...

Because the drain hole is probably frozen and the water can't drain out. Gain access to drain hose by pulling fridge out removing back cover and locating drain line. Remember how drain line is positioned and pull it off. Now open freezer door and pull the bottom container out and look toward the rear bottom of freezer. That's the drain. In order to fix it i usually melt the top part enough so i can start pouring hot water in it and be trying to clear with icepick too. When done reattach drain line and that's it.

Trying to remove rear door handle on chrysler lhs 99

Hello, to remove and replace the rear door try the following:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery of your Chrysler LHS. You can accomplish this with an open end wrench, to prevent any injury or short in the electrical system as you are working on the door lock switch. Place the negative battery cable out of the way so it does not touch any metal parts.

2. Undo any screws that are holding the lower door panel to the door with a screwdriver. Unclip the plastic hold clips that are attached to the back of the panel by carefully pulling them away by hand.

3. Locate the electrical connector wires. These wires run behind the panel to the door arm rest and detach each wire connector by hand. Remember how the wires were attached so you can put them back the same way when it is time to reattach them.

4. Lower the door panel away from the door. Then, remove any screws holding the upper door panel in place. Remove the door handle pull cup that covers the door lock switch and door handle by carefully popping the cover off after you have removed the screws holding it in place.

5. Detach the upper door panel from the door. You can do this by pulling it away carefully from the plastic clips. Move the upper door panel out of the way and locate the door lock actuator switch. Remove the screws from the actuator switch that are holding it in place and disconnect the electrical wires attached to the back of the switch.

6. Replace the old door lock actuator switch with a new one. This replacement can occur by connecting the electrical wires to the back of the new switch and reattaching the switch to the door frame with screws. Put the upper door panel back in place, securing it to the door frame with plastic clips and screws.

7. Reattach the door handle pull cup to the upper door panel with screws. Then, put the lower door panel in place and reattach the electrical wires to the window switches underneath the armrest. Attach the lower door panel to the door frame with plastic clips and screws.

8. Attach the negative battery cable to the Chrysler LHS battery with the open end wrench.

Thanks

I need to reverse the Door?

ok you will need a putty knife and a phillips head screw driver [size number two]. Look at the hinges. You will first remove the door from the hinges by unscrewing each screw. this is generally a two person job due to the weight. After you have the door removed look at the side where there are no hinges and you will see plastic buttons in the spots where the hinges will be attached. Pop off those buttons with the putty knife and save them.

Next unscrew the hinge and move it over, turning it upside down. Put the buttons on the side where the hinges used to be.

finally reattach the door.................DONE.

How do i replace the gasket on a top freezer refrigator?

Hi, first you will have to remove top freezer door, remove plastic cover from hinge, at left or right, above door, remove top hinge, tilt door slightly forward and lift off, be careful with spacers between door and hinge, you have to put back spacer between door and hinge to get proper alignment. put door on flat surface, lift rubber and check underneat, you will see screws or plastic clips, if there's screw, make like 3 or 4 turns with screwdriver, dont completely remove screw, if you don't have, don't know what type of ref. you got, remove old door gasket, replace new one, and put it back on. good luck.

Freezer Door handle came off after 1 yr.

I had this problem with the bottom freezer door of my Amana.
What I did was slide off the entire door handle by applying pressure pushing toward the right to get the handle off. Once the handle was off, I slid the clip (which was still clipped on to the door) off and screwed it back on to the handle. Once the clip was tightly secured to the back side of the handle, I carefully slid the handle bar back on to the door by sliding it to the left back on to the door clips until it clicked securely back into place.
