Question about LG Washing Machines
It fills with water washes spins and drains , but near the end of the cycle it overfills and comes up with error FE which I presume is filling error . Have read that it could be the pressure switch / hose . Got hold of a used pressure switch off a different model and it does the same thing only this time it lets even more water in and fails to pump all the water away . Think it may have came off another LG model as it was very slightly different . If I got hold of the right part would that fix it or could it be a faulty circuit board ? Or something else ?? Thankyou Mark
Make sure that you get the correct pressure switch and also check that the rubber hose that comes off the tub onto the pressure switch is completely clean inside. Any gunk that prevents the pressure build up in the tub, when water is being taken on, from going up the pipe to the switch will cause an overflow error FE.
This could also be a faulty water inlet valve, but more likely the switch.
