Aiwa turntable not playing through the speakers

Has the amp got a dedicated phono socket for the turntable? If you are using a tape or aux socket it might not have the pre-amp needed to hear the deck. If your amp doesn't have a socket for the deck, you will need a magnetic cartridge pre-amp.

Also check the connections to the cartridge, they might have come loose.

I have a 06 Honda Civic and My Aux player will not work any longer. The radio and CD player still works. What is wrong? How do I fix?

the most you can do yourself is check the wire connections at rear of radio , although i assume the AUX is plugged in at the front ? if so try a new wire to the AUX socket , if still no go will have to go to a radio repairer

When playing from the AUX (i.e. iphone), can't hear from both speakers, only one; but when playing from a CD, the sound is fine. Any suggestions/advice/help? The odd thing is that if I press down

hi, seems like you may have a faulty aux jack socket(if the socket is mounted onto the face) or you may have some dry joints on the socket, or even a cracked pc board around the aux socket connections. also try cleaning the face connection pins both on the unit and on the face. if you not technically minded, check out you jvc repair center. cheers!

Blowing fuse on aux power

The first thing is to look inside the aux socket to make sure nothing is inside the socket. then remove the plug from the rear of the socket and see if it still pops fuse, i think it wont, i think the problem is a bad socket, if the fuse stops poping then just replace the socket. good day.

Engine over heating

I assume your Apple Aux adapter in your GMC Acadia is overheating. If so, the problem is with improper insulation or poor wiring in the center audio console. Ask your GMC technician to have a look into the insulation inside the dashboard and center audio console.

If the engine is overheating when you plug in Apple device to the Aux adapter, then it is the case of wiring fault that clashes with the engine's cooling fan circuit. Most probably some loose contacts inside the dash creating some ground or electrical disturbances.

A visit to the GMC service will fix this. Also if your GMC is still under warranty, you better do not do anything fixes on your own. Such un-authorized fixes could void the warranty and GMC can take it for granted for all future services that falls under warranty!

My daughter has an Iwantit ipod speaker model IW900 and it works/sounds fine with her ipod usind the dedicated ipod connector. On the the back of the speaker there is an Aux in socket. She would like...

It took me a while to figure this one out. Firstly plug your device in to the aux socket and play some music so you can hear when it's correctly switched over. Turn on the iwantit using the switch at the back then press the play button once, you should see the lights on the buttons go brighter. Now press the play button again, this time holding it down for exactly 3 seconds. When you release the button you should be in aux mode and you should hear your music playing. Hope this helps, it took me about an hour of faffing around before I finally figured it out.

How do I connect my turntable to my micro hi fi.The only sockets I have on the hi fi are aux and headphone socket.

You will need to look for a magnetic cartridge preamp this will then plug into the aux socket. If you need that socket for something else I suggest you get a switcher box. You might even get one with a cartridge pre-amp built in!

My aux power points are not working. What is the

there are two auxillary power sockets. The console aux power socket is protected by fuse #4 in the battery junction box. The second aux socket located in the rear is protected by fuse #1 in the battery junction box. Both fuses are 20 amp fuses. The battery junction box is the fuse box located under the hood, usually on the driver side.

2005 Chevrolet Uplander LT - Cigarette and Aux power outlet not working

if the fuse is good and there is no relay then either you have a loose ground/positve wire or the socket is bad. you can easily purchase a after market socket from Napa or Oreillys for a few dollars of the problem is not a loose wire or bad fuse. good luck please rate this solution...thanks
