Question about Panasonic Televison & Video
My panasonic hdtv went out during a thunder storm and when I turn it on it flashes green for a few seconds about 20 seconds and then it turns red and keeps flashing red without a pause or stopping and the lamp light flashes red about every 2 seconds without stopping. There's no picture or sound ,just a black screen.
Have you replaced the lamp recently? they can fail if they are on when the storm happens? Please post your model # for more info.

Take out the bulb (back left hatch door) look to see if the element inside the bulb is broken or blackened - (replace bulb) if the bulb looks OK then it's the ballast that fires the bulb (service call).

I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.
Thanks to those who posted the solutions

Thats the error for lamp driver error. Which means the Ballast is most likely defective. You can get the replacement ballast for your model at the following link which comes with installation instructions.
