Danby DUF408WE Upright Freezer not working

Does the compressor feel warm to the touch. If it does, it will be proof that the thermostat is calling for cooling and is probably good. For the obvious questions: Is the freezer in an area below 80 degrees F, is the wall outlet in good shape and not hot to the touch, is the freezer plug not blistered around the prongs, is the door gasket against the face all the way around the mating surface on the chasis. If the compressor is hot, listen for a click every 2 to 5 minutes. If the click is present the starter is your last best hope. The click is the compressor trying to start. Without the proper tools you are pretty much up against a wall. One last suggestion is to check for loose wires under the compressor terminal cover. I would suggest you look up the compressor manufacturer for a visual on cover removal. Dont forget to unplug before attempting compressor cover work. I hope you havent tried to put screws through the outside walls of this freezer or damaged the shelves inside. Both are fatal for the freezer and no repair can be made. Good luck.

I need a pictorial wiring diagram for this unit, can you help me?

here is a link the manufacture. There is a some information  and manuals posted there. it looks like you may have a something like what they call a 335-935 Their manul at the bottom of all the languages shows a picture of the compressor and the thermostat device and knob. The cooling unit wiring should involve fans, lights and compressor. Compressor will have cutout safety and temp switches as well as the thermostat. and a capacitor. maybe but not likely a relay. It should all be visible around the compressor. Some starting devices may be on the compressor under the plastic cover where the wires go in. If any of those are bad and you do not have a warranty a hard start kit for $18 will replace all the starting components if that is what you need. Let me know if this gets you what you need or have more questions just ask.

Frigidaire for Kenmore Freezer-Compressor won't start

Set the thermostat to the coldest and check if there's power to the compresor relay , if yes the relay or the compresor are bad (in this case replace the relay which is the cheaper first step ,but if the compresor still won't start probably is burned out) If there isn't power to the compresor put a jumper wire to the thermostat if the compresor runs replace the thermostat.
