Check your RAM sticks. Try powering ON using one RAM stick at a time if you have more than one installed. Take the RAM modules out of the laptop ( situated on the bottom of your machine beneath a small hatch ) Push aside the silver clips either side of the RAM and they will flip up slightly . Holding the RAM sticks carefully on the sides gently pull them toward you . Look closely at the RAM you will see a small notch ( cut out ) on the RAM It needs to return to the slot the same way you take it out. When replacing the RAM slide gently (The RAM )back to it's slot and gently push into the slot and then gently push down on the sides till it clicks in . Remember to only replace one module at a time and try to boot and see if your machine responds . If 1 stick will boot then it could be ( after checking both modules individually ) that the other stick has failed .

Won't power on...

Unplug the TV for a minute then plug it in while observing the power light. If the light flashes three times then the standby power supply is OK.

If the standby power supply is OK, a diagnostic code can be read from the green power light by counting the flashes. Press the power button once (this sets the diagnostic code). Press and hold the INPUT and MENU buttons on the fron panel for 5 seconds then release. The green light flash a two digit code (x flashes, followed by a pause, then y flashes). If it flashes a 2-2 code then a short circuit has been detected in the switched power supply. It would normally flash a 1-2 code for "no problem detected".

If a 2-2 code is read, check for blown pico fuses on the POWER circuit board. If the FA904 or FA905 fuses are blown then most likely at least one of the two convergence driver ICs are bad. It seems like this is the most common failure. I replaced these fuses and ICs in my TV. The parts cost me $50, but it required extensive disassembly, PC board desoldering & resoldering, and reassembly. If you can resolder circuits on a PC board then you can probably fix it yourself, otherwise call a repair person.
