SOURCE: ez-go golf cart press accelerator pedal and nothing happens

The first thing I would do is lift the seat and check the battery connections. Those batteries are notorious for corrosion at the terminals. Make sure every connection is clean and solid, as in no loose, corroded or frayed battery cables. Next, if the batteries check out, toggle the run/tow switch, also under the seat to make sure it is fully engaged into the run position, and finally check the forward/reverse lever to make sure the connections are clean and tight.

Ezgo golf cart bucked then died. new batteries and solenoid. What happened?

Does solenoid still click? If it does then I would check the motor wires to see if they are still connected. If ok then I would check the forward/reverse switch assuming you have a Lever type mounted on the body of the cart.

Yamaha electric golf cart 36v at motor but won't move reverse buzzer works has new batteries solenoid clicks Any ideas

I would make sure that the solenoid IS working even if it's clicking.
Make sure that the positive voltage is on the field side when it clicks.

Should the solenoid have increasing voltage across the main terminals, 9.0vdc to 30vdc. Master switch in tow, key switch off.

My answer is I don't know regarding golf carts but generally a designer would arrange for a solenoid to be actuated by as constant a voltage as possible, especially if it is to be engaged for long periods. That is the only method to ensure consistent operation without danger of overheating. This is assuming the available voltage energises the soleniod.
I would expect the voltage across the main terminals would also be expected to be fairly constant so a predictable consistent performance can be provided over a long life.

You really need to consult a repair manual/wiring diagram. As a complete uninitiated golf cart layman I would expect the main solenoid switch to be switching the battery voltage which would then supply the speed and direction control board. I could be worng though!

check the forward/reverse switch. Possibly a loose wire. Unhook the battery and go to each wire and verify it is connected properly. Then reconnect the battery.

Do you have a multimeter to check DC voltage ? You possibly could have the batteries hooked up wrong and not getting 36 VDC. Also did you replace with the same number (6) 6 volt batteries or three 12 volt ?

My g14 yamaha electric golf wont go when we put it in forward or reverse and sometimes it makes a clicking noise when u depress the pedal

The clicking is the solenoid. If it won't move in either direction the speed controller is most likely defective. Hope this helps.

EZGO golf cart won't go forward

Your batteries have died. The reason it will barely move in reverse is that current is being supplied to the motor is a direction that it spends very little time using. There is a slight change in the armature over time, and reverse tends to work better over time. Check the voltage when under load. (run jumper wires from the + and - of the battery bank. If it is a 36 volt cart and the voltage drops to below 36 volts, you do not have enoug current to run the cart. Plug in the charger and watch the ampmeter. If it goes up to about 20 amps, then it is charging. It should take a good charge after 10 hours. If the cart charges and only runs a short distance, the batteries need replacing.
