Question about Ovens
I have two sources that give correspondances between thermostat numbers and temperatures.
This is the first one:
Thermostat 1 30°C - 85°F Thermostat 2 60°C - 140°F Thermostat 3 90°C - 195°F Thermostat 4 120°C - 250°F Gas mark 1/2
The other one is a formula: t = 20 X (T + 3)
where t is the température in °C
T is the thermostat (1, 2 ... 12)
As you may discover, each of the methods give slightly different results. Hope this will help.
