Question about Casio QV-R41 Digital Camera
my camera displays strange pictures in REC mode (like thermal image) when I try to take photo. Also when after pressing the shutter and view what's been taken it shows strange picture (I assume it would record what's gone through the len). I can view other images taken previously without any problem. So I think the problem is because of the len was damaged but the playing feature is still working. From what I've been aware of, the camera was not dropped, but the problem happened after I replaced the new batteries. The len retracts fine.
Please kindly let me know if this problem is fixable.
Thanks so much.
I see this problem everyday : the CCD sensor is faulty ( see enclosed pic from a canon camera with similar specs ) this is why you can not capture normal undistorted images but have no problem with playback .Fortunately Casio will repair this free of charge so contact your agent.
