Sd card not being read. I have tried two different 4gb SD cards. These cards have the smaller mico chip inside the SD card. I also tried to format the card with the camera but not able to do this...

The DC-1020 works with SD cards up to 2GB in size, not SDHC cards 4GB and larger. The same limitations apply to microSD and microSDHC cards used with adapters. The adapter will make a microSDHC card appear as an SDHC card to the camera.

You need to use SD or microSD cards, 2GB and smaller.

WHAT Sd Card is used in the Agfa DC1003S camera?

You may use any SD card, up to 2GB in size. You may also use any SDHC card, up to 32GB in size. A faster card may download faster if you use a card reader but will not affect the operation of the camera. Any of the major brands will work.

Is there a way to get the DC E53 camera to accept a larger SD card than the 512mb that it currently accepts?

The following link describes the maximum SD card size for your camera.

The following is from their site:
BenQ DC E53 BenQ DC E53 Memory Cards (SD Card) & Accessories

The following digital camera memory cards are compatible with your BenQ DC E53. Every digital camera memory card we offer is manufactured to the highest standard and carries a 2 year minimum warranty.Your BenQ DC E53 accepts SD Card cards. The largest SD Card card you can use in your BenQ DC E53 is 2GB

So you can buy up to 2GB SD cards.

My camera wont let me use an sd card

There have been two other posts in this camera's forum about this problem, you could've saved yourself a lot of trouble by reading through the other posts.
This camera only supports an SD card of 1GB maximum. The specifications on page 25 of the User's Manual state that only SD cards between 8MB and 1GB in size can be used in this camera. When I tried a larger-capacity 2GB SD card in this camera it reported that the card needed to be formatted even though the SD card worked fine in my desktop PC's SD card slot. Verify that the capacity of the SD card you're trying to use is 1GB or less.

I order a sdhc memory card and it will come on but the screen just says digicam and wont go to taking picture or menus why wont it take this card

Your camera was designed to use SD cards up to 1GB in size. SDHC cards will physically fit into SD slots but will not work electronically.

The reverse is not true, in that SD cards will work in SDHC devices.

HC SD card support for pocket pc

Hi,

Unfortunately, Pocket PC devices with Windows Mobile 2003 OS do not support High Capacity SD (SDHC standard) cards.

However, some companies have created standard SD cards (Not SDHC) with capacities up to 4GB. These, sometimes, not always, work.

I would recommend you to purchase SD cards up to 2GB in size only which is the maximum size the SD standard has defined. If you would like to try the max capacity you can get, you can try some "SD standard extended, but not SDHC" SD cards up to 4GB. If you would like brand names, I could recommend you a few..
