My lcd dell E1912H blinks from one side what is the solution

By blinks from one side what exactly do you mean. Is the entire half of the screen blinking on and off or looks like its dimming and brightening? Some displays have a backlight inside in order to light the screen. Some have two and one may be going out. They are similar to the big ones you see in buildings in that they tend to flicker and get dim before crapping out. I usually see this in laptops though. This model does have an LED backlight according to dell so my guess is that it is going bad. If its under a year old, contact dell for a replacement as it should still have the manufacturers warranty. If you purchased or received any longer warranty then I would go through them. On their site in the support area you can use the chat app to have them walk you through or call them. If its out of warranty then you are probably out of luck. Unless your willing to buy the part and have the knowhow to replace it yourself. its not terribly difficult and you can get the repair manual off their website. I used to do this all the time as a tech for a school district. The part may not be cheap though but it may be cheaper than a new display. keep in mind there are added features like POWER NAP which auto dims the display if there is no activity detected. Try seeing if this is on and if it is, turn it off and see if that helps. Here is the link to Dells User guids for this product. It has a list of common problems and solutions. If you want the repair manual that breaks it down in case you want to do it yourself you may have to use their chat app or email them for it. Hope this helps. http://www.dell.com/support/Manuals/al/en/albsdt1/Product/dell-e1912h

Usually Dell monitors have a 3 year warranty, hence check with Dell. If your monitor is out of warranty this problem can be fixed by a tech who can open the monitor and replace teh backlight or the backlight circutis.

Monitor cuts out after a few minutes

Sounds to me like a power inverter. Fix it yourself with the parts found on Ebay at a cheap cost to yourself. The entire Dell E173FP 17" power inverter is selling for $29.99 plus shipping.

The fix can be found at: http://syscon.wordpress.com/2007/07/13/dell-dell-e172fpb-lcd-backlight-repair/

Cheers and good luck!!

Still having a problem with the monitor

It sounds like you get this problem even when you are sitting there using the computer. If this is the case then there is a problem with the hardware inside the monitor.

Unfortunitally it's something that you would have to have DELL fix. It will involve sending it to them for repair if the monitor is still under warranty.
