You can hard reset a couple of ways:
1 -- shut down the phone and pull the battery. 2 -- If the phone will not shut down, pull the battery. 3 -- Go into the settings menu for your phone and reset to factory defaults. NOTE: You will need to re-configure your phone after doing this!!!

Power off the phone.
Slide it open while still off.
Press and hold the Power key and the T key at the same time until you see the Android system recovery display.
By pressing the Volume key down,scroll to Wipe data/Factory reset.
Select by pressing the power button.
Again use the Volume key down to select yes -wipe user data.
Press on the power key.
Scroll to reboot system now by pressing on the Volume down key.
Press on the Power key to confirm selection.
And your phone reboots!

No, just sign out and back in again. If this doesn't work. Sign in with another persons details, log them out then sign back in with yours. Hope this helps. It did for me.
