Question about McCulloch 16 Inch Gas Chain Saw MCC1635AK
Is it fixable
Posted by Anonymous on
Probably the fuel line has deteriorated and is cracked allowing fuel spillage. A remote possibility is the tank itself could be split.....remote though. Yes there are replacement fuel lines for most saws, some are OEM and have built in grommets to seal the connection into the fuel tank and some use standard fuel lines that can be cut to length and slipped over barbed fittings on the tank and carb.
You probably have to take it to a service center to have it done unless you like to tinker with dirty, oily, smelly and generally grimey power tools on your workbench or kitchen table.
Try Jacks Small Engines to find your parts. Have your model and serial number ready as you'll need it to get info out of their parts locater.
