Question about Nikon Travelite III (8x23) Binocular

Open Question

How do I disassemble it completely in order to clean it after sinking in muddy water?

All the lens are vague and covered with spots. It seems to me that I have to reach each of them from both sides in order to clean them. a scheme of the binocular with explanations how to dismantle will be most helpful

A lot of muddy water ncame thru our fauct now nothing single lever k itcnen faucet maybe f-034-3aly

If you got muddy water to the faucet and thne the water stopped. Then you first will want to remove the aerator. If you do not get water after the aerator is removed then you will need to remove the valve and clean that. If you still do not get watter after you clean the valve then you will need to replace the valve. Make sure that you turn the water off if you are going to remove the valve.

The airrator is part # 941-561 on the link below.

Now if you need to remove the valve part # 974-074 you will remove the handel then part #950-118 will unscrew to get the valve out.

Once the valve is out take it to another sink and wash out the mud. Also turn the kitchen sink water on a little to clear the mud out of the lines to the faucet.

Here is the manual if you need it on the link below. Page 4 - 5 will tell you how to take apart and clean.

All of a sudden, i see a dark black spot in the camera lens / picture... the spot appears on all the pictures. Please suggest fix.

Hiyour unit has dust a particle in front of image sensor surface (ccd unit). you or someone else must had used to clean front of lens or side of barrel caused the particle got in. In order to remove that it need some sort of complete disassemble require. I recommend to bring your local repair shop. They would charge around $35 to 115 depend on what they want to charge.

My panasonic Lumix DMC-ZX1 shows 3 dark spots and 2 hairs on all pictures. When I zoom-in the dirt is more visible and when I zoom-uit I dont see the hairs any more and the dark spots appear wider and...

Yes, you can clean. Not as complex as I originally thought.
1) Remove all of the silver screws
2) Separate the silver case (should split in 2)
3) Remove the 3 black screws in the middle
4) remove the center square cover that is over the lens
5) Use a duster spray to clean the lense and mirror
6) Reassemble in reverse order
Not knowing what I was going to get in, the entire process only took about 7-10 minutes.

Email me at malhokc1@yahoo.com with any questions.

Rain water got in lens.

camera needs take apart and cleaned by a professional.  Sadly your boss will only make issues worse.  He should have kept the camera in a zip lock bag.

Polaroid camera 1739 has black spots on picture

you should be able to clean the exterior of the lens with a clean microfiber cloth or lens cleaning papers (available at even wal-mart). If the spots are in the inside of the lens body, you have to send this in to be cleaned as the camera will have to be disassembled to do it right.
