My craftsman vaccum won't **** very well. The filter is not the problem and the hoses are not clogged. On the motor itself there is very little air being sucked in, however it blows out air quite well. Can...

The mini has a plastic blade, it sounds like it is loose on the shaft. The air you feel coming out is vacuum air and motor cooling air. It will feel like there is a lot of air even if you block the hose, because that's motor cooling air. The plastic blade might need replaced.

Ridgid shop vac is not sucking

Check the intake hose for a blockage. Attach the hose to the exhaust outlet and turn the vacuum on. If no extracted air is blowing out of it the hose is totally clogged up

Old shop vac

Hi,
Yes there should be a filter fitted onto the top section.

For suppliers, it would be cheapest to find your nearest stockist, or buy online and have it shipped. It's still current stock - so spares should be readily available.

Sears stock it -

Electrolux canister vaccum 2100

The filter for your Electrolux 2100 is located on the rear top of the machine. It is covered by a plastic grill. You simply place your finger in the rear of the plastic grill, push the tab in slightly and lift the grill up to expose the filter. The filter is approximately 4" by 6". It is NOT washable. Most Vac Shops sell replacement filters in addition to them being available at the local Electrolux distributor.
