Does it die slowly (in which case I would agree with the previous answer) or does it die immediately the clutch is released? If so, then check the sidestand or clutch switch. The sidestand switch is designed to stop the engine if it thinks the stand is down when pulling away.

Hi Paul:
I'd be suspicious of a fuel restriction. May I suggest flushing the carb (there should be a drain screw on the bottom) and see if you can find a fuel filter that needs cleaning or replacing. It may be that a high speed jet in the carb is obstructed. if flushing it did not help, try removing it and use compressed air to gently blow through the orifices (fancy word for holes).
Hope this helps.

check your fuel filter/gas line in tank you could have a crack in your line that in the fuel till it gets below half tank then sucks air through crack, It's a possibility, other than that, check your exhaust port, but sounds like a fuel problem check your fuel tank vent also to make sure it is venting. Good Luck

My car stalls when stopping have changed both o2 sensors spark plus, and air filter. spark plugs have oil dripping off of them

Does your car have fuel injectors? You may need to clean them, you can get cleaner at any auto parts store, if that doesn't work, I would check the in-line fuel filter, if you have one, this is a common problem, it happens when you get dirty gas (bottom of the tank at the gas station, or right after the holding tanks have been filled from a tanker). I never gas up when a tanker is filling the under ground tanks, too risky. Good luck.

Oil on spark plugs could be from a leak in the sending unit. A sending unit can be replaced in your driveway...very easy to do, and don't forget to check your oil too!

Sounds like the carb has over flowed and filled the crankcase with gas.
You will need to drain the oil, and re-fill it with new oil at the proper amount. Also replace the oil filter.
Clean the air filter and replace the spark plug.
Clean the carb, making sure the float and float needle are functioning properly.
That should fix you up!
