Question about Onkyo TX-NR636 Receiver 7.2 Channels, 95 W/Channel, 0.08% THD, Supports 6 Devices
What parts needs to be changed?
Hi Carl, typically this would be an indicator that one of the bare wires from your speaker connections is coming in contact with the back panel of the unit. Please disconnect all of your speakers and power on the unit to see if you get the same message. If you do not then you know the problem is with the speaker connections. Now if the unit shows check speaker wire with no speakers connected it would mean that the unit will require servicing, Thanks, JT
