What causes the engine to miss fire on #2 cylinder?

If you shoot me your year I might have the info you need. And - depending on your year - the 94ish years had TWO coil packs for the 4 cylinder - 8 plug wires basically. When any of the leads of either of those coil packs goes out - youre going to experience a miss condition. If it's the v6 - you've got a cam sensor that can cause that type of action - and have you checked your throttle positioning sensor? If that goes out - the ecu will get mixed signals and can act like that as well. If you can tell me the year I'll see if I got the info you need. All the best.

What is the heat range of a ngk d8ha sparkplug

ngk 7112d8ha plug is a standard plug which is in the center of the heat range
you can determine the heat range of any plug by looking at the ceramic insulator inside the plug
if the ceramic is shallow or close to the end it is a cold plug --for use in hot running engines
what you have will have the ceramic insulator a bit further down inside the plug -- normal engine operation
and hot where the ceramic insulator goes well down into the plug body-- use for fouling engines and oil burning engines
the rating comes from the ceramic ability to transfer heat away from the plug electrode
for stories on plug heat ranges , go google and type in-- spark plug heat ranges and explanations --

Where are the spark plugs located on the 2000 s type jaguar? Also where can I get a repair manual for this make and model?

When you ask for information about your 2000 Jaguar S-Type, it would be very helpful if you would take a moment to mention which engine it is equipped with. There is a 3.0L V-6 and a 4.0L V-8 engine available for that make and model.

However, the spark plug replacement is similar except that the intake manifold must be removed to access the plugs on the right bank on the V-6 engine.

The spark plugs are located under the cover that goes down the center of each valve cover. You must remove the plastic engine cover to see the cover that goes down the center of the valve covers. Remove the screws in the cover plate. Remove the electrical connectors for each ignition coil. Remove the screws securing the coils and remove the coils. The spark plugs are located at th bottom of the hole that the coils just came out of.

NOTE: The spark plug tubes should be blown out with compressed air before removing the spark plugs. Failure to do so can cause severe engine damage from debris falling into the combustion chamber or contaminating the spark plug hole threads.

As for finding a service manual, the best recommendation I can give you is to subscribe to the service information available at ALLDATAdiy.com. This is the same infomation that I use as a professional auto repair technician. The fee is extremely reasonable - under $30 (US) per year.

Carbaeurator problems - 22" Yard Man push mower

That is the intake tube. You have to remove the rewind starter housing and the armature (what the sparkplug wire is hooked to) and unscrew it. IfI knew the engine model and type numbers, I could tell you the part number for the tube. They are located around the spark plug and stamped into the cover. Model-Type-Code.

Why should I wait for 10 miutes to start my car smoothly.

start with a good tune up. fuel filter, air filter, plugs, cap rotor, and wires.make sure the plugs are the correct type. then clean the throttle body inlet, and add an additive to clean the fuel injectors.get a compression test on the engine to see if the cylinders are in balance.
