u need at least 2 lil L shaped brackets.flip ov er the amp and on the corners there should be a couple of holes thats were your lil L shaped brackets go.thats were mine go anyway. the brackets are about 1" .

First, test your sub terminals for an Open connection, or no resistance. This is to test if your sub is blown. This is usually the case.
Double check your wiring, not only to the sub, but from your headunit to your sub. Make sure your headunit is configured to work with your amp, if you have a setting for this (for instance, SUB: ON).
