Akai cs=f11 stereo cassette deck needs spare parts-rollers and belts. any idears please

Parts for these are no longer available from the manufacturer and I don't have a specific cross reference for the rollers for this model. The best bet at this point, is to go to a repair shop that handles audio repair. They should be able to remove the rollers and measure them. Rubber parts are available from generic suppliers. The roller itself will remain. The rubber should be available. Unfortunately, having access to the actual unit is required to provide more information.

Missing rear axle. is there a way to replace? the company won't.

I had the same problem. I bought this scooter for my daughter at a flea market and the rear axle was gone, someone had tried to fix it with a bolt, but it was very unstable. Here is what I did and it has seemed to work well. This will cost you less that 10.00 at your nearest home improvement store.
You will need
1x - 5/16 x 8 hex bolt 1x - 5/16 nut 4x - 5/16 x 1 1/4 flat washers 2x - 1 1/4 hard rubber stoppers 1x - 3/8 drill bit & drill 1x - gorilla glue or lock tight
Ok... before we start let me tell you what all this is for and how it works. The way I assembled this was, hex bolt, 1 washer, wheel for scooter, 1 washer, 1 rubber stopper (Insert this into the metal tube on the back of the scooter, so that on the other side you will just have a bolt sticking thru) now, 1x rubber stopper, 1x washer, other scooter wheel, 1x washer, hex nut.
The rubber stoppers are the hardest part and the reason for them is to keep the bolt going thru the middle of the axle tube. This will help to eliminate the scooter from wobbling.
Now, if you have read this far here is how we did it in order.
1. Take both rubber stoppers and trim them with a kitchen knife so that they will fit into the metal tube on the back of the scooter securely. (do not push them all the way in yet)
2. Drill a hole thru the middle of both trimmed rubber stoppers with the drill and bit
3. Take your hex bolt and slide a washer on
4. Slide your 1st wheel on
5. Slide on a 2nd washer
6. push on the trimmed rubber stopper to where it meets the washer. (The wheel should be able to still spin pretty freely, If you think it is to tight just pull the rubber stopper up a bit)
7. Take this assembly and push it into one side of the metal tube on the back of the scooter (you want the rubber stopper to be and flush with the edge of the metal tube and you can)
8. Your hex bolt will be stick out of the other end of the tube, slide on the last rubber stopper try and work it into the tube as best you can.
9. slide on 3rd washer
10. Slide on last wheel
*At this point I put the scooter on its side and pushed down on the wheel to force the stopper into the tube
11. slide on 4th washer
12. screw on nut
*Now I found that if you put the nut on to tight the wheels would not turn, but if you left it loose it would fall off.
13. To fix the above issue we put some gorilla glue on the bolt threads and screwed the nut on, we would spin the back wheels until we were happy with the amount of tension on the wheel. We then put some more glue on the top of the nut to help hold it in place.
14. Let the glue dry
Thats how I fixed my daughters scooter. I am in NO WAY a professional or expert at this stuff. Just a dad trying to make his baby happy. Hope this works for you!

Where is the fuel filter located on a 1994 dodge ram

Fuel Filter REMOVAL & INSTALLATION CAUTION
Never smoke when working around gasoline! Avoid all sources of sparks or ignition. Gasoline vapors are EXTREMELY volatile! All 1989–93 Gasoline Engines and 1994–96 2.5L Engines The fuel filter is located in the fuel line on the inside of the left frame rail, just ahead of the crossmember. Fig. 1: Fuel filter location for gasoline engines 88471011.gif
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure as described in Section 5.
  2. Unfasten the filter retaining screw and remove the filter from the frame rail.
  3. Wrap a shop towel around the hose connections to catch fuel spillage. Loosen the fuel hose clamps and disconnect the hoses from the filter.
  4. Remove the old fuel filter and replace it with a new one.
  5. Connect the fuel hoses and tighten the hose clamps. Position the filter on the frame rail and tighten the retaining screw to 75 inch lbs. (8 Nm).
1994–96 Gasoline Engines — Except 2.5L The fuel filter is integrated into the fuel pressure regulator which is mounted in the fuel tank. This unit is not controlled by the PCM or engine vacuum. It is calibrated to deliver approximately 35–45 psi (241–310 kPa) of fuel pressure to the injectors. If the pressure exceeds the maximum of the specified range, an internal diaphragm closes to route fuel back into the fuel tank. This system eliminates the need for conventional return lines from the engine bay and accounts for the name of the "Returnless'' fuel injection system employed in these vehicles. NOTE: Fuel tank removal is required for this procedure. Also needed will be external snapring pliers and proper hose clamp pliers, such as No. C-4124 pliers (available through Plymouth/Dodge dealers), or equivalent.
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure as described in Section 5. Fig. 2: With the fuel tank removed, twist and pull the fuel filter/regulator for removal from the rubber mounting grommet 88471707.gif

  2. Drain the fuel tank and remove the tank.
  3. Remove the fuel filter/regulator (which is pressed into a rubber grommet) by twisting and pulling it straight up. Fig. 3: Use snapring pliers to remove the retainer securing the cover tube to the base of the filter/regulator 88471708.gif

  4. Remove the snapring retaining the cover tube, then slide it down to reveal the clear plastic fuel tube and its retaining clamp. Fig. 4: Cut off the old tube clamp without damaging the plastic fuel tube 88471709.gif

  5. Gently cut off the old clamp without damaging the tube, then discard the clamp.
  6. Carefully pull the tube off, then remove the filter/regulator from the fuel pump module. To install:
  7. Install a new clamp over the plastic fuel tube and attach it loosely to the filter/regulator. Rotate the unit in the line until it is pointed to the driver's side of the vehicle.
  8. Tighten the clamp using hose clamp pliers such as No. C-4124 (available through the Plymouth/Dodge dealer). NOTE: Do not use conventional side cutters to tighten the clamp.
  9. Slide the cover tube up to the bottom of the filter/regulator and install the snapring.
  10. Carefully press the assembly back into the rubber grommet by hand. It should be pointed to the driver's side of the vehicle.
  11. Install the fuel tank.

Our Toto bowl does not fill up enough after flushing unless the lever is held down. What do I do to fix it? We have well water and a bit of mineral does build up on the fill tube.

The only adjustment available is to control how full the tank will be for the next flush. The water that runs down into the bowl after flushing comes through the same valve that fills the tank, so the problem (and solution) is entirely with the amount of water that runs into the bowl while the tank is filling. The tank is filling sooner than enough replacement water can run into the bowl. Make sure that the tube (usually a 1/2 inch rubber tube) that runs from the float valve to the pipe that fills the bowl (usually a 1 inch pipe with an open top) is actually delivering all of it's flow down that pipe. If the flow of water being delivered by that tube is slow, you will have to find and eliminate the restriction. You might be able to pull of the rubbber tube off of the float valve and stick a small drill bit (just using your fingers, not a drill) into the fitting where you pulled off the tube.

Hotpoint washer over filling

Hello Friend, Your solution is simple. You need to replace the water level pressure switch. It's simple to replace, just remove the knob from front panel and gain access to the rear of control panel. You will see the water level pressure switch from the backside. It has a flexible rubber tube attached to it. Just remove the rubber tube and the wires making note of location of wires. Install new switch and re-install wires and when re-installing rubber tube, be sure to moisten nipple on new switch before you re-install the rubber tube. moistening the nipple before re-installing the rubber tube will insure an air tight seal. This should solve your problem. Happy to help, Tim.

Printer paper feed wheel rubber band is broken

I had the same problem. To remove the rubber band, I had to remove a plastic housing that keeps the band in place. It's a bit difficult, but I managed to without breaking anything with two small flat point screwdrivers. I couldn't find any original replacement part, so I looked for something similar in the market. The rubber has to be really soft to pick up the paper, also a reason why it cracks a lot. If the rubber is flat, then try to use fine sandpaper on it to give it some texture. clean it well, so it won't mess up the paper. Put the rubber band on the housing and clip it on. This should end with all the paper jams and weird noises. The job is easier done, if you remove the housing of the printer (six screws). Never use brute force. If it doesn't come out, there's something that you're doing wrong. Be patient, so you won't break anything. Good luck!
