Question about Fitbit Charge Wireless Activity Tracker Sleep Wristband Large
I started using this Christmas gift the middle of January and the last few weeks is when the charge was not holding. Actually from the beginning it was not stayed charged for the 5-7 days as is advertised.
You can put the software right, with a reset. Hardware errors and batteries won't change a bit when you use the reset button. When the battery is bad, and it looks that way, just return the Fitbit and ask for a new or new battery. It still should be under warranty. If the warranty is only 90 days for the battery, never again buy a Fitbit in the place you are living. In Europe electronics have a warranty of 24 months.

I have no idea what you used the paper clip for, the reset is down by plugging your tracker into its charger, and then onto power. Hold the button down 12 second until you see the Fitbit logo, and the version.
As for what Harrie said that is not anymore so than a restart of your computer will usually get unresponsive hardware on the computer working.
A restart will reset all hardware to a known state, and start back up the firmware.
This should get your Fitbit buddy working again, of not then contact.Fitbit.com
