Question about Humax Televison & Video
Try covering its IR window; it may be receiving some spurious IR signal. Do you have a digisender or similar which relays remote signals?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I had the same problem,
you have to revert your freeview box to it origional factory settings, then rescan for channels.
hope this works.

Sorry, but the remote control has no way of setting a code to seperate the units.
You have to keep the receivers at a distance or in other rooms. I believe that these are infared controls so you might be able to mask or collimate the beam from the remotes BUT this is USUALLY futile as the infared signals bounce off almost anything in the room.
