Question about Samsung Refrigerators
The sides are hot probably due to the operation of the moisture control system heaters. These heaters operate to prevent moisture accumulation on the box due to humid air in the space where the unit is located. If you live in a cooler climate, you may not need for these heaters to operate. Not sure about the burning plastic smell.
