I don't know why there would be much of a delay between the condenser and evaporator fans coming on. If you have diagnosed it as a bad motor, that's probably correct.
But the motor could just need cleaning and lubricating

WR60X10220 is the part number to the evap. fan motor if your complete model number is this STS22ICPBRWW, which you can verify by locating the label on the machine somewhere and on a label you actual model with serial number will be listed. The Fan motors start winding has gone out on it and when you spin it you're taking the place of it giving the run winding a chance to kick in. This part should run anywhere from $20 to $30 bucks.
