I can not get the handles off. there are no screws

There is either a screw under a cap from the top or a set screw from the side. Looked at about 200 Grohe diagrams and they all have that arrangement.

The plastic end piece which fits into the Milano towel bar has broken so that the towel bar doesn't stay in place. I don't know where to find a replacement.

"Milano" or "Geneva"???

Geneva 24" Towel Bar:

Contact Grohe. They might just replace the broken part.

From their web site:

"For Warranty or Replacement Part information

I have grohe geneva 20 801 faucet. How do I remove the handle lever (part 45 790)? I removed the decorative cover (45 783) over lever and also the screw inside the handle and lossened piece below it but...

None of the above solution pertains to Grohe 20 801. What I did was ...
After undo the phillips head screw inside the decorative piece, pour a lot of lime away into the hole, flooding the hole if possible, wait a while. The parts are just bound together with deposits after years of wear and tear. Now, take a hammer and use the prying end to pry up the handle with all your might and you hope it would come out. The handle came up for me after working it loose for about an hour.
