Buy only from an assured source with secure payment, warranty and trade dispute protection systems in place, such as www.amazon.com (go to Amazon's contry specific site for where you are i.e www.amazon.co.uk for the UK, www.amazon.com for the USA).

Amazon has a section called Amazon Market Place, where approved, reputable, monitored resellers supply a vast range of warrantied, returnable goods, under Amazon's oversight.

Use a credit card and you get further protection from your card issuer in the event of a problem.

Keys on my logitech keyboard are not working

Without knowing which type of logitech keyboard it is, I'd suggest borrowing or buying another keyboard to see what the problem might be. The springs sometimes go bad, and it costs money to replace keys at retail prices, but sometimes it is easier to just swap keyboards, or takes keys from an identical keyboard.

Amazon and other online sites sell all kinds of keyboards and deliver them.
