Where is fuel filter on a 2001 intregue

Instructions
    • Open the hood to access the engine compartment. Locate the fuse panel behind the battery. Open the relay cover and locate the fuel pump relay. The cover will have a diagram to pinpoint the exact relay.
    • 2Pull the relay out of the fuse panel and place it to the side. Start the car and allow it to idle until it stalls out. This will depressurize the fuel system.
    • 3
    • Locate the fuel filter underneath the car directly under the rear driver side door. The filter will be a foot in front of the fuel tank.
    • 4Unscrew the outlet side with an open-end wrench. Use a second wrench to hold the stationary nut on the filter; this will prevent the filter from turning. Pull the fuel line away from the filter.
    • 5Squeeze the clip on the inlet side by hand and pull off the inlet pipe of the fuel filter. Pull the fuel line away from the fuel filter.
    • 6Unbolt the filter from the mounting bracket to release the filter. Replace with the new filter. Tighten the mounting bracket with a socket wrench.
    • 7Push the inlet line onto the fuel filter by hand. The line will lock in place.
    • 8Screw the outlet line onto the fuel filter by hand. Tighten with a wrench to ensure the line is secured. Use a second wrench to prevent the filter from turning.
    • 9Insert the fuel pump relay into the fuse panel. Close the fuse panel cover back onto the fuse panel.
    • 10Turn the ignition to the "run" position and hold for three seconds. This will engage the fuel pump to prime the line. Turn the key off and repeat again. Attempt to crank the car to circulate the fuel into the fuel line.
    • 11Allow the car to idle for five minutes. Inspect for any fuel leaks before turning off the car.

Where is the filter on my rs2630

Removing and replacing a water filter - inside liner location

Filters situated in the interior liner of the refrigerator compartment of Samsung-built side-by-side refrigerators are relatively simple to replace. Follow these steps:

  1. Grasp the filter and make a one quarter turn to the left. There should be an indicator line located on the filter bracket cover. The install mark on the filter itself will line up with this indicator line.

  2. Pull down gently on the filter to remove it from the mounting bracket assembly. Be careful to not tip the filter, as water may spill out of it.

  3. Discard the used filter.

  4. Remove the new filter from its packaging, and remove the red plastic cap from filter cartridge.

  5. Apply the appropriate month sticker to the filter to remind yourself to change it again in six months' time.

  6. Line the install mark on the filter up with the indicator line found on the filter bracket cover. Push up on the filter. Turn the filter a quarter turn to the right to lock it in place. The remove mark on the filter should line up with the indicator line of the filter bracket cover.

Note: Replacing this type of filter is quick - there is no need to unplug your refrigerator when replacing it. Also, this filter should be replaced every six months.

I need to gain access to the fuel filter system on a 2001 Chevy Malibu. There seems to be a metal covering the underneath side of the car so I cannot even trace the fuel lines to find it without removing...

Have you checked around the back wheel, passenger side? That is usually where they are. The cover is to protect the gas tank, so you might not be down far enough. It should be on the left side. You shouldn't have to take it off to get to the fuel filter. Check that back area. Remember, your gas cap. The gas goes in there, so in that area, there is a gas line. Follow them and you will see the other gas lines. Follow them and you will see the filter. Hope this helps. If you have a question, let me know.

Fuel Filter On all models except the Millenia, the fuel filter is attached to a bracket located in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir. How to relplace fuel injectors 02 chevy trailblazer

Hi,

Thanks for contacting Fixya.com.
The fuel filter is located on the driver's side, centered between the front and rear tires, along the inside of the frame.
There happens to be a hole in the plastic covering that runs from just under the transmission back to the rear axle. If you can manage to remove the filter without removing the cover, you're better at this than I am.
After removing the cover, which entails removing a cross bar, four bolts and two nuts, the rest is easy. Make sure you have something to catch the gas that will drain from both lines. Squeeze the the blue clips on both lines to pop them off the filter. (This is when all the gas drains out). The filter is held in place with one screw (phillips) located above the filter. Remove old filter and replace with new. The new filter should be labled with "OUT". That line is the line that goes up to the engine. You will need to remove the blue clips from the old filter and snap them onto the new filter. Snap the fuel lines on the filter, tighten strap that holds the filter in place, replace the plastic cover then you're done.
Let us know if you have something more to know else please accept the suggestion.
Thank You.

You didn't mention where the fuel is coming from, so I'll start from the fuel pump; if it's not leaking with the key off, it has to be between the fuel pump and the carburetors.

First, remove the driver's seat, then the left side cover (it's the color matched cover under the front seat; it's held on by one bolt, the one toward the back of the motorcycle, and a friction pin through a grommet on the inside of the side cover, low and toward the center of the bike). Next remove the center cover, held on by pins and grommets on both sides. You've now exposed the fuel pump and filter, you can see the supply line from the fuel tank to to the pump, the output of the pump to the filter, and the line from the filter back toward the carburetors.

Check all exposed hoses and clamps for cracks, tears or loose connections. If none are evident, turn on the key; you should now be able to detect the source of the leak IF it's in the vicinity of the fuel pump and filter. The pump puts out 2-3 lbs. of pressure; a leak in that area should be obvious.

If you've detected no leakage there, reinstall the center cover, then the left cover, and proceed to the vicinity of the fuel tank and engine. Remove the fuel tank mounting bolts (there are two under the front of the tank, through tabs on the underside of the tank to the sides of the frame; there is also a bolt through a special washer and rubber insulator to the top of the frame at the rear of the tank. Lift the tank enough that you can see the fuel feed lines on both sides, as well as the fuel supply line from the fuel pump and filter. Examine lines on both sides, looking for cracks, tears of loose connections. Turn on the key, a leak in this vicinity should be immediately evident.

If none of the supply lines are leaking, the carburetors will have to be removed individually and checked for stuck needles, bad floats, or leaks in the carburetor housing. Those leaks, however, are typically sufficiently small that they would not be described as "gasoline pouring out".

Leaks at the filter of a frigidare side by side SXS FEFRIGERATO

Assuming this is a side by side, with the water filter located at the top back of fresh food side, assuming filter is unclogged, i.e., new, check the housing that the filter slips into, that which you actually grasp and turn to remove the filter. If there are any cracks in this filter housing, you will need to replace it. If the cover is sound, the problem will lie within the housing assembly, that which you screw the filter cover into. This housing is held on with 2 or 3 screws. IN order to remove the water lines, you must squeeze the white collar towards the housing, away from the water line, while at the same time gently tugging the water line. If you squeeze the collar correctly, the line should come right out. Make sure to connect ONE line at a time. Do not disconnect both and reattach at the same time. If the lines are reversed, you will damage the filter and possibly water system itself. attach water filter and check again. if filter cover is ok, and this does not fix your problem, without personal inspection, i cant help you further.
