SOURCE: SPARK PLUG FOR POULAN LAWNMOWER

Take the old plug out and it will have numbers on the side. Simply match them up and you can cross-reference them on the package of any other plug that looks like it fits. But I'm guessing that mower has a Brigg's and Stratton engine and the plug will probably be a RJ19LM (Champion Number), which is what 99 percent of the engines I work on take (gapped at .030). Also, most mowers today run on straight 30 weight oil (not a multi-viscosity such as 10W30, Just 30 weight). Hope this helps you and good luck. P.S. Your owner's manual will tell you what you need to know and the engine sticker will tell you the oil.

Put Lawnmower on its side and changed blade. Put

Most likely you have flooded the cylinder with oil. You can try this and see if it helps you out.

Remove the spark plug, clean and dry it with carb cleaner, let dry, spray carb cleaner in the spark plug hole and thoroughly flush it out. Let is sit this way for about 20 minutes. Reinstall your spark plug and see if it will start up for you. If it does you are done if not go to an auto parts store and buy some starter fluid. Spray the fluid with just short burst into the air cleaner. Try to start it. Repeat and it should stay running in a couple of tries.

How to change a spark plug on a club cadett model # 959435

Hello. Changing the spark plug requires a couple of tools, all available at any auto parts store, and the right replacement plug. Regarding the plug, look in the manual or take the old plug to the auto parts store and have the clerk cross reference for you to be sure you get the same one or a comparable. Look at the links below to learn more about changing spark plugs in lawn mowers than most people know. Have fun with it.

Lawnmower wont start

Are you getting spark first of all. If you are getting spark do you have good gas? If you have good gas most likely your carb needs some attention maybe you had some old gas sitting in there and something inside is gummed up it might need cleaning.
