Replace or fix the turn signal switch. They are pricey.

SOURCE: Turn signal continues to make the clicking sound

I had the same problem, I found the post quoted below and fixed the problem in about 1 hour without having to replace any parts. Hope this helps!

(I can't seem to get back into the link but had copied the answer - the original link is: http://www.allaboutauto.us/2007/04/07/1999_chevrolet_blazer_turn_signal_clicking_noise.html)

"I had this same problem and fixed it myself. The problem is caused by the contacts rubbing and releasing small particles which conduct small amounts of electricity and cause the flasher relay to click. From a GM Goodwrench mechanic.

Disconnect Battery Before doing this.

You need to remove the turn signal arm from the steering column. This may seem difficult but it really isn't. Separate the top and bottom covers. Find the screws and remove the switch. One is located behind the column and requires some dexterity to get out. I used a Torx bit on a 1/4 box wrench.

The difficult part is separating the switch to clean the contacts. Take your time and you can figure out how to separate the switch. If I remember right, the switch separates and then the emergency signal switch slides out. Also, pay special attention to the way the rotary wiper delay switch is set into the switch.

Once you can see the contacts, clean them off of all lubricant and metal pieces. I would hesitate to use Isopropyl Alcohol for this because off the plastics involved. I just used lots of Q-Tips and a lot of patience.

Finally, get a good Dielectric (non-conducting) lubricant from auto store and cover all contacts with a thin layer. Put the switch back together, reinstall and test.

This took me about four hours to repair. Because I took my time and did not force anything. Once I figured it out it wasn't that hard. The hard part was the rotary delay switch and how it was set into the switch.

I figured if this didn't work, I was going to have to replace the switch anyway, so what the hell. Just make sure your local auto parts store has one of these available if you screw this one up.

Did this about four years ago and problem has not returned since."

SOURCE: 99 Chevy Tahoe... Rear turn signals, brake lights, and hazards

I had this problem, and to be honest, it happened to the left side about a week later...it's the board that the bulbs plug into...it's a very common problem with this model. So popular that you can normally get the socket board off the shelf at a parts store! it's extremely simple to replace, and I replaced all the bulbs at the same time!

SOURCE: The hazard lights and turn signals stopped working

You have problem with the FLASHER; the flasher is located in the Junction Block (under the dash, left of steering wheel. See diagram on this page). Check the following repair tip:

Look at the end of the flasher relay with the prongs sticking out. There will be 2 plastic tabs holding it together. Break or bend these back. Pull out the insides. On one side will be all the components. On the other side will be solder joints. Get a magnifying glass and inspect these joints. One or two will probably have stress cracks. Just dab a little flux on this joint and heat it with a soldering iron until it melts back together.

You may need to add just a little solder. Be sure to get the pins hot and not just the solder. They need a lot of heat. Slide the relay back into its cover, dab a little super glue or tape it back together, and you're ready to go.

Check the Fuse 4, 15AMP for Flasher, hazard switch (see Junction Block diagram above for location of turn signal Flasher relay - Mopar p/n 4686094).

Hope this solve it (remember comment and rated this).

Turn signals and Hazard no longer work

Fast clicking is caused by a higher than normal current being applied. Normally a short or a aftermarket relay that requires less current to switch. Sounds like the entire multifunction switch is bad.

Turn signal relay keeps clicking (same sound as when turn signals are on) even when I am not signalling to turn. I checked, all bulbs/signals work properly. But the sound is annoying. I replaced the relay,...

it may not be that relay. if this happens when the vehicle is idling. look under the dash at the fuse panel. put your finger on each relay. you will feel it if it's the one that is clicking. replay the offending relay.

Brake light/turn sigs dont work. But lights are on?

Ok, GM had a problem with their hazard light switches in the years of around 2001-2005. These caused some bizarre workings concerning the hazards, lights, turn signals, etc. The circuits overlap, and when the switch malfunctions, it makes for some odd happenings. Normally, when the hazards are on, they cancel out the brake lights and the turn signals, since they use the same circuits. The normal taillights use a different filament in the same bulb, which is why they light up brighter when you press the brakes. The aftermarket has come up with replacement switches in response to these inherent problems, so do not get your switch from GM. Places like RockAuto.com will sell these, though not necessarily this place, it's just the one I use. Usually, GM put these in the steering column, so replacement can be tricky for the average person, as it involves taking apart some of the steering column.

2000 Chevy CK, have hazard lights, turn signals,

test your brake switch located on the brake fulcrum. you can unhook the wires and usea paper clip to connect the two wires together if the brake lights come on then replace the switch, if it does not come on and the bulbs are ok then replace turnsignal switch.

Renault laguna 1.9tdi dynamique 51 reg. hazard warning lights do not work, changed fuse still not working. whats wrong with them

If your turn signals work, then replace the flasher for your hazards. Turn your key on then give a left turn signal. Listen for the "clicking" sound near your brake pedal and accelerator. Once you locate your turn signal flasher (small, "cylinderical", device) the hazard flasher should be near it. Simply pull out the flasher and replace... just plugs in.
