It is possible that the auto load assembly is damaged or your trigger (button) is stuck. Also check to be sure nothing is stuck in your auto load assembly (this is the part with the spring that allows the water to flow only when pushed up on).
check section on which the auto load would rest to make sure it is also moving freely when trigger on handle is depressed, and not stuck in the up position.

I included link to ereplacementparts.com they have tare down pics and all the parts if new are needed. I have used them for parts to my side by side a few times. good luck

My machine will spray from the hose attachment, but not when I am doing floors.

Check Flow Indicator Filter under the Flow Indicator. Turn Indicator cap counter-clockwise, remove rotor. Filter is under rotor and pulls out. Clean filter. Additionally, check LINT FILTER in the clean water tank cap. Check you User's Guide if you have more questions or call the Bissell Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691 The other thing you can do in this case is reseat the tank. It may be blocking the housing connection but the sprayer connection is smaller and open. Cleaning the filters after each use though is recommended.

My Bissell P:rolneat will not dispense water through the floor unit or the wand.

Check the filters. Flow Indicator: Turn Indicator cap counter-clockwise, remove rotor, next remove filter. Clean the filter and replace items in reverse order. Additionally, now is a good time to clean the Lint Filter on the tank cap. These filters are recommended to be cleaned after each use. Hope that helps, if not Bissell Consumer Care can be reached at 1-800-237-7691.

Bissel carpet cleaner not sucking up dirty water why ?

Sounds like a clogged filter. Try cleaning the Flow Indicator Filter (turn Flow Indicator cap counter-clockwise to remove it, lift out rotor and filter under it. Clean filter and reinstall in reverse order); Check and Lint filter on the Heater tank Cap. All filters are recommended to be cleaned after each use. Bissell Consumer Care number is 1-800-237-7691

My bissell portable stain remover shampooer leaks water from the bottom

Check your Customer Care Guide for the location of the filters. I'm not familiar with this machine but if it has a "Flow Indicator" there's a filter under it. Just screw off the Flow Indicator Cap and you'll find a rotor. Under it is a filter that gets clogged and needs to be cleaned. There's usually a filter on the cap of the water tank as well. It looks like a screen, remove it and clean it too. The back pressure can lead to leaking. If that didn't help call the Bissell Consumer Care at
1-800-237-7691 Hope that Helped.

My carpet cleaner wont stop leaking water after cleaning and i need keep vacumning up excess water

The unit works on suction and can develop a syphon if the filters get clogged. There's 2 filters that you should be cleaning after each use. One filter is located under the Flow Inidicator: Unscrew the Flow Indicator Cap to remove it. Lift out the rotor and the filter is under it. Lift out the filter and clean. Reinstall in reverese order. If that didn't help you may want to call Bissell Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691 Hope that helps.

Will water squirt out the hose? If it does then the heater in the handle may be clogged and not allowing water to flow. The heater is in the handle. There are a number of things that can cause your problem. If no clogged heater and lines, and no water from the hose, then the pump or pump belt maybe bad, the cap for the flow indictor is leaking air and not sealing, the gasket at the bottom of the tank isn't on the tank, either missing or sitting in the hole in the base where the tank sits.

I have a similar model and occasionally have problems with water/detergent flow. I find it is generally due to an airlock in the piping caused by forgetting to turn the deregent water control off before removing the detergent container. Follow the manual instructions. Turn the knob to off. Fill both containers. locate them carefully. Make sure filters in the water tank and in the flow meter are clear. Start machine with handle laid flat and knob turned to maximum flow.
