Question about HP DesignJet 1050c plus InkJet Printer
Posted by Anonymous on
Hello. Clear film media made for the Designjet has a white strip at the right edge of the media. The strip is for the edge detector to find the edge and load the media.
HP and Lexjet both sell the correct media for your plotter.

I would check the sensor on the carriage that detects paper. It might be dirty enough that printer cannot detect the subtle edge of the clear film. It is the blue light that turns on on the bottom of the carriage when you load paper.
