I found that after 3 washes the flood well had enough water to activate the float switch thereby rendering the machine inoperable. What I done was drill a small hole in the plastic base well - the waster that drains out is minimal, not even noticed, but enough to keep the machine working.

Saeco vienna super automatica coffe maker produces very little coffee and it comes out very slow.

sounds like your pump. When you turn steam knob on, you should hear the pump go bump, bump, bump. When hot water is turned on, you should hear pump run steady.

Dishes not clean

It sounds like two possible problems.
1. A clog in the water system from previous food is restricting the spray pressure of the water.

2. Water pressure pump that provides the spray wands pressure is either stuck or inoperable.
Without spray pressure and the hot water, the food is gonna stay.

Hi there, my washing machine is not doing its wash cycle. the machine just keeps filling up with water and not doing anything else. can you please give me some ideas what it could be. thanks

hi seeing that you have not provided the model i will try and see I can help, there are only two possible causes that i can think of. Most washers depend on air pressure and a control unit to regulate how much water is needed per wash setting.

Either there is an air leak with the little pressure tube between the controls & air chamber causing the lack of pressure.

Sometimes the electronic GW/LW/MW models of F & P machines go faulty where the transducer (electronic sensor on the board) does not sense the pressure applied from the little tube running to the bowl.

On the rear top end of these top loaders are 2 screws, remove them & check for kinks and state of the clear tube on the right of the machine, blow into the tube after removing the clip to see if no blockages.

IMPORTANT *** do not blow into the transducer end where you remove the tube as it will render the Electronic board useless..

See how you go.

I was told to use only HE detergent, is this true? Frigidaire front loader. My first. What happens if you use regular detergent?

the he detergent is a softer compuond, thus disolving easier, also has an alge reducing compuond, reducing the risk of mildew and unpleasant smells, if you use regular soap, you r asking fo plugged water ports.

Kenwood dishwasher

E4 means overfilled which in practice means there is water in the tray at the bottom of the machine. Lean the machine forwards and the water will drain out and clear the fault code. chances are it will fill up again so if it repeats the leak will need to be found.

Weak coffee and pale crema.

If you get weak coffee from espresso machines:

Check water temp, if water temp is insufficient , most common is scale heating element , faulty element, faulty thermostat.
Check if water is dripping right at the center of the filter, if it is dripping on one side because the orifice is clogged, that can result in weak coffee.
Coffee blend not well distributed on filter basket.

On Espresso machines:

Check water temp, same as filter coffee machines (thermostat element, scale on heating chamber).
Ensure that coffee is filled correctly in the filter cup (fill at level), and well pressed.
Ensure that the coffee mixture that you are using is not too coarse, buy the apposite one for espresso.
Ensure that you are not leaving the machine brewing for a time that is too long, and Italian coffee cup is very small, approximately one regular shot.

On the hob moka pots (espresso, Moka and Bialetti type):

This are the trickiest ones, you need art and practice to get a good espresso with a Moka, but when you learn, the result is better than what you may get with an home electrical espresso maker.
The frame on the hob must be not too strong, and the mixture coarse but well pressed, with water at level tag, or you will get a weak coffee.
On Mokas a good strategy is keeping hob at minimum, and turning up the flame at top when coffee starts coming out.

Note: insufficient pressure and clogged lines on electric machines never give you a weak coffee, exactly the opposite.
Not pressed mixture always gives weak coffee, but too much pressed mixture may give you coffee with bad taste.

Try descaling your machine, because it may be clogged. Boilers heat up the water to produce steam. If descaling doesnt work you may have a boiler related problem.

Find descaler on www.CeriniCoffee.com
