Question about Washing Machines

1 Answer

What is the problem with my washer whan it has an erorr code CE ?

I have a error code CE at my washer. When i put the maskin at extra rinsing, there is a click and the wather should have pour in the maskin, but it does not. After counting Down from 14 min to 7 min the error code CE is coming after a click in the washer. For a year or so i change the waterdistributer for another problem, so i think this is ok. May it be the solenoid valve that is the problem. That it does not open? The valve has a number 1105344/00.

You have to tell us make and model to get a precise answer.

On many washing machines CE means communications error which is either a failure of the control board or some item controlled by the control board. It may be time to call the repair man.

Kenmore he4t washer codes

The control for the washer likely detected a problem. The failure code will not be displayed on all models of washers. You can recall the error code by using this procedure:

  1. Select the "Drain/Spin" cycle.
  2. Select No Spin.
  3. Press the "Prewash" options and hold this button for 5 seconds.
  • Immediately after those 5 seconds the last stored failure code is displayed for 4 seconds.
  • After those 4 seconds the display switches automatically back to the selection mode
NOTE: If your washer does not have the Pre-Wash option. Then use the 2nd Rinse button (called Extra Rinse). The failure code should stay in the memory so that it can be recalled as often as necessary and as long as it is the youngest failure Code.

CE Communications ErrorIf there is any breakdown in communication between the machine controller and the motor controller, CE flashes and the unit beeps once.

Some common causes of CE errors include:

· Conformal coating on serial communications pins between the machine controller and motor controller. After disconnecting power to the unit, try scraping this coating off the pins.

· Check the resistance values between the serial communications pins with the connectors in place. Make sure the harness does not have a bad connection.

· Check the quick disconnect at the motor terminal. The drive motor must be hooked up properly or a CE error will occur.

· Drive motor thermal protector has opened.

·Motor controller is not powered or fuse has opened. Replace motor controller.

Error code ''suds'' on maytag front loading washer

Press Chime and Extra rinse keys for three seconds or until the control beeps. You are now in service mode and your machine should say a new error code. Depending on what that code is, you might be able to reset your machine by unplugging it, and replugging it in. if your codes are now clear, try running machine on spin only or rinse cycle. DO NOT add more soap!!! If this corrects your problem, try running a load with out soap. You may have a lot of extra soap in your machine.

Whirlpool washer will not stop at end of cycle

Turn off extra rinse switch or pull wire going to it. If water is slow the water valve may have a restriction in it. Remove hoses and check for blockage in the hose screens.
