Question about Grundig FR200 AM/FM/SW/DAB Radio
I often leave the digital radio on all day as a home security measure. Can prolonged use of the digital radio function normally cause it to "wear out"?
Constant usage of DAB should not cause it any damage ever. The dropouts are very characteristic of a poor signal reaching the DAB tuner, as digital is either there, or not there, nothing in between.
Check the aerial connection if any, the rod antenna if any, and try moving the antenna (whatever it is) to a better location, usually higher up, away from thick walls, and away from speakers if any.
