Tap it gently with a block of wood and a hammer. There is something blocking the unit.

The water is not out

The pump should be inspected if •
the machine does not empty and/or spin •
the machine makes an unusual noise during draining due to objects such as safety pins, coins etc. blocking the pump. Proceed as follows: •
Disconnect the appliance. •
If necessary wait until the water has cooled down. •
Open the pump door.
Place a container close to the pump to collect any spillage. •
Pull out the emergency emptying hose, place it in the container and remove its cap. •
When no more water comes out, unscrew the pump cover and remove it.
Always keep a rag nearby to dry up spillage of water when removing the cover.
Remove any objects from the pump impeller by rotating it.
Put the cap back on the emergency emptying hose and place the latter back in its seat.
Screw the pump cover fully in. •
Close the pump door.

Indesit wib111 leaking from pump

This that unscrews is a filter cover, it does have to come out and will be restricted by something thats blocking it, without being too forceful it will have to be removed so the "catch area" can be cleared of objects, like pins and maybe a sock, then the cover can be screwed back in and made secure to stop it leaking (engineer of 20 years experience)

Washer has stopped and error says suds or blocked pump

Hi, there is a round cover on the front left corner. Install a pick in the small hole and turn the cover. You will see a twist cap behind the cover. Unscrew the cap and remove what ever is blocking the pump from turning. Watch out because the water in the tub will drain out.

That should fix the problem....

There are no error codes showing, water is definately getting hot but dishes on bottom tray not cleaning, i have used few products specially designed to clean the dishwasher itself without any dishes in,...

Check that the arms spin freely when spun by hand, then check the outlet jets at the trailing end of the arms are not blocked with food particles and other solid matter. This often happens and the arm is unable to turn because the water jet that is supposed to drive the arm does not have the force to rotate it with the result is that the upper dishes do not get enough water and chemicals. .

How do I install new brakes?

Their are rubber cover's over the part of the screw between the calliper and the holding frame. Slide them a little and see if their is grease inside the cover. If not they are probably seized this is a common problem with them. spray penetrating oil inside the rubber and leave them a while. When you get them to move don't try to fully unscrew them at once. Unscrew about half turn then tighten again while spraying in more oil. Repeat this a few time's because if you try to unscrew them fully first time them most likely they will break.

Bosch washing machine spin cycle is not working

I don't know if this will solve everyone's problem but I found the problem in my machine. I found a SHOUT color catcher stuck in the impeller of the drain pump in the bottom of the machine. If you remove the round face plate covering the drain plug and then unscrew the drain cover you can access the little pump impeller. I found the 5" x 10" color catch sheet stuck and impeding the rotation of the impeller. Once I removed it, reset the machine, reinstalled the drain cover and outer cover and restarted the machine, it worked fine.

We use alot of these color catchers and have never had this problem before. But as they say, there is a first for everything.

Steps to repair:
  1. Unplug the machine
  2. Lift an edge of the round face plate covering the drain on the lower right corner of the face of the machine. Then rotate it clockwise about 1/8 of a turn. Remove the face plate.
  3. If you are sure your machine is empty you can simply unscrew the drain plug which is a roughly 4" round plug with a handle molded into it. I had standing water in my machine so I vacuumed out the water first then held the vacuum at the opening of the drain plug and slowly unscrewed the plug letting the water get sucked up . This took about 5 minutes just to drain this drain trap.
  4. Unscrew the drain plug (if you haven't done it already)
  5. You have to fully unscrew the drain plug then pull on the plug a bit to get it to come out.
  6. Examine and remove any debris you find in the drain trap. (In my case, this where I found the color catcher stuck up in the impeller of the pump which is toward the middle at the bottom of the drain.)
  7. Reinstall and snug the Drain plug. To do this you need to properly orient the plug to get it to go in correctly. You have to wiggle it alittle as well.
  9. Double-check the security of the plug
  10. Reinstall the face plate by orienting the tabs on the cover and rotate in place counter-clockwise.
I hope this helps some of you out there.
