Admiral ATW4475 Left by prior owner of home. Unpleasant Odor of moistness / mildew? / gunk emanates from tub despite careful cleaning including the inside rim. What should be checked and cleaned?

The basket / inner tub is actually what you see when you look in the unit. The inner tub connects to the transmission and sits inside the outer tub. Unless you take the whole top off and remove the inner basket, it is almost impossible to clean the outer tub. You can try to use the oem cleaning method and this is to run it with no clothes, on the hottest setting with one cup of bleach in the water.

How do you clean the lint filter?

you can't clean lint filter. It has a built in filter that cleans itself. It is under the inner basket. If you have to, than remove the agitator and inner basket. It is attached to basket on bottom. No need to clean though

Bob, your wife is partially correct. However, both burners should have blue flames with orange tips. Cleaning the burners and the their venturi valves, should solve the problem. When I say cleaning them, I mean removing and cleaning them.

Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!!

Speedometer quit working on 2001 883 hugger

Chances are, it is the cable or connection. Remove the speedo cable from the front tire. See if it turns; this is tough to do, don't sweat if you can't get it done. Remove from the speedo side. The inner should come out from the outer. I would bet the problem is, it is rusted up inside. Chances are good it is no longer in one piece. If it comes out, clean both sides and oil. Compressed air is about all you can do for the outer, maybe a bit of sand to scrape it. If you chuck the inner on a drill motor and CAREFULLY drive it while in the speedo (it will coil up like a slinky and get ruined), you can see if the speedo works.

They sell inners only, but trust me, if it's that bad, buy the whole thing. You'll only gum up & bust the new piece unless you clean the outer well, and it's cleanable with something like a small gun cleaning rod, but it's just not worth the headache.

My speedometer quit working. The sensor is clean.

The easiest way is to take the speedo cable off and inspect it. If the speedo has a cable, it's a mechanical speedo. Unscrew the cable at the either the speedo or the speedo drive mechanism. Pull the inner core out and examine it for damage or wear. the ends of the cable are sort of square as compared to the rest of the cable that is round. Make sure the cable is not broke or the square ends are rounded off. If the cable looks good, lubricate it with wheel bearing grease and reinstall the inner cable back into it's outer sleeve. If the cable is good and working as it should, that leaves nothing else but the speedo.

I want to know how to remove the inner drum on my Samsung top loader to enable me to clean the outer drum.

you will need to remove the agitator by removing 1/4"hex screw at the bottom of agitator, then you need a "spanner wrench" to remove inner tub-basket hold-down nut then you can remove inner tub to clean outer tub
