Think twice. You won't be able to get everything adjusted and calibrated. Even the all in one printers don't cost more than the ink they have inside. Just check the price of a complete set of new cartridges and compair that with the price of a new printer. Then decided what to do

Fuser error 50.2 step by step how to fix

Hi,
This sounds like the fuser is dead.
I would try a reset, but I think you have little chance to revive it:
1- Switch the printer off.
2- Press and hold both the Red X button and the Right Arrow button (printer is still off)
3- Keep pressing those buttons and press the Power On button once to start the printer... keep holding X and Right Arrow.
The goal is to have the printer display a "Printer Settings Init" message. Then you can let go the two buttons. If you don't get the message, try the procedure a few times.

If this doesn't work, I would say the fuser is dead. Fusers are consumables..... but I don't think this part is available for this model. Considering the price of the printer, the new part and the labour involved to fix it would exeed the price of a new printer.

If you still want to have a go at it and try to extract the fuser for inspection, you can try this:
http://www.partsnow.com/docs/service-manuals/hp-laserjet-pro-100-color-m175-service-manual.pdf

Beware, this is not an easy process.

Good luck.

Error 6800

According to the service manual error code 6800 means that "A problem occurred in reading from or writing to the EEPROM". The suggested parts replacement is the logic board. See page 12/64 in the service manual.

You find the service manual here: http://elektrotanya.com/canon_pixma_mp560sm.pdf/download.html and the parts catalog here: http://elektrotanya.com/canon_pixma_mp560pc.pdf/download.html

For download of files from electrotanya see this post for instructions: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=61324#p61324

I think that turning the printer off and disconnecting power for some minutes and then reconnecting power and turning on the printer doesn't make the error go away?

I don't know if clearing the EEPROM from service mode will remove the error, but you lose the printer history and absorber counter value in doing so. You might also have to uninstall and reinstall the printer to get the display language back to English. Probably the logic board error will prevent the printer from starting, so no service mode operations will be possible?

If you want to give the service mode a try, then I recommend studying the service manual p. 47/64 to 54/64 incl and this thread: http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7416

But sadly I think the error 6800 means printer kaput clear.png

Sounds like the power supply/motor drive board is bad. You might consider a new printer or repair the power supply. The printer is obsolete and only a few parts are currently available from Sato

CHECK PRINTER ##330 flashing message

From the message board archives:

Error codes:

## 322 Fuser not heating (Usually Bad Fuser Module)
## 323 Laser Beam detect error
## 324 Laser scanner motor rotation incorrect
## 325 Fan motor inop
## 330 Power Supply (Replace/Repair)

You must turn on error management to have the machine display error codes, otherwise it will just say "CHECK PRINTER".

To turn error management on, enter the following: Press Data registration, #, Set, 00000011, set, stop. Now after the "check printer" message there should be one of the error codes above.

Supposedly, Nation-Wide Repair Service fixes the bad power supplies for $45.00. They can be reached at 800-798-1814. You can also buy one for $148.00 from www.loyal.net I hear. The proper replacement power supply part number for both the LC7000 and LC7500 is HH3-5278 so I am told.

Lexmark C510 - 930 Printhead Error

93x Printhead Error
Each printhead error has its own error code number. The error codes and their respective meanings are listed below, together with some actions you can take to resolve the problem.

ALL printhead errors:
If this is the first time the error has occurred, try turning the printer off and on.
Let it sit turned off for at least 20 seconds before powering it back on.
If powering off and on the printer clears the error, please continue using the printer but watch it to see if any printhead errors return.
If your printer continues to display a Printhead Error message, make sure it is plugged straight to the wall and not through a surge device or power strip. Power strips and uninterrupted power supplies can cause a low amperage problem in your printer. This can trigger a printhead error even if the printer has worked on this surge device for months.

If the printer continues to post a 930 Printhead Error, it thinks the wrong printhead unit is installed.

If the printer was recently serviced, make sure the correct parts were used. This is especially true if the parts replaced were either the printhead unit or the printer's engine/system board. It is in one of these two parts that the printer is detecting the problem. Note: If you are the person repairing such a printer, please be aware that parts from different, though similar, printer models may not be compatible with this printer. Also make sure to check the laser cable going from the printer's engine board to the printhead unit, as it reads that signal.
If the printer was not recently serviced before this error occurred and powering the printer off and on does not help, the printhead unit and possibly the laser cable or the engine/system board to this printer may need to be replaced.

If the printer continues to post a 931 Printhead Error, it thinks there is an error in the signal going to the laser or the Hsync part of the printhead assembly.
If the printer continues to post a 932 Printhead Error, it thinks there is an Hsync error occurring in the printhead assembly.
If the printer continues to post a 933 Printhead Error, it thinks there is a failure in either the Hsync signal or with the mirror motor unit of the printhead.
If the printer continues to post a 934 Printhead Error, it thinks there is a "lock" failure with the mirror motor assembly within the printhead assembly.
If the printer continues to post a 935 Printhead Error, it thinks the mirror motor unit within the printhead unit cannot reach its operating speed.

If powering the printer off and on does not clear any of these errors and it is already connected directly to the wall, your printer may require service. It could have a defective printhead unit or there might be a problem with the engine board or one of the printhead cables. Note: If you are the person repairing such a printer, check all of the cables going from the printer's engine board to the printhead unit for any damage. Also check the continuity across these cables.
