Remember during the day time. There is a lot outside noise that drowns out the noise of refrigerator. And in the evening there's less background noise to mask it.

Dishwasher is humming when turned on like pump noise but not starting the program

the first thing any dishwasher does is drain, so if its humming instead of the normal noise there will be a piece of glass or something similar stuck in the drain pump it will need to be removed and cleaned out

How do you stop ice building inside, at the back of fridge model Beko LA87 Larder fridge

It can be 2 things. One is that the thermostat is broken but then it will also freeze your food. The other reason is that it has lost part of its gas charge due to a leak on the system causing the unit not to reach temperature thus not switching of on the thermostat and building ice inside. Normally it is not economically viable to fix the unit.

Check serial number and model number re letter certain models may be faulty serial no 070041405 model no CDA752FX can you please check

I can confirm that your unit IS IN THE LIST of potentially affected refrigerators. Please read the article below:

POTENTIAL BEKO REFRIGERATOR FIRE RISK AND RECALL NOTICE
I would normally give a pointer to articles I have already posted this response on, but as this is such a potentially serious matter, I have posted my entire response here for you.

According to several sources I have checked, including most importantly, BEKO's own website, the MODEL numbers (not serial numbers) affected by the recall are as follows:
CDA543FX
CA5411FFS
CDA752FS
CDA645FW
CA5411FFW
CDA752FW
CDA647FS
CA5411FFX
CDA752FX
CDA647FW
CA7014FFX
CS460FF
CDA648FS

CDA539FX
CSB4606FFS
CDA751FS
CDA543FS
CSB4606FFSD

The fridges affected were manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006. After shipping and sitting around in shops, you can probably extend that margin to machines SOLD between 2000 and 2008. The first 2 digits of the serial numbers indicate the year of manufacture, so if your serial number doesn't start 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 or 06 you don't even need to check.

If you go to the BEKO website, there is a link to check your serial number:

https://refsafety.beko.co.uk/

The site also provides a mail address and a UK Freefone number that you can call (Though I've tried the number and it keeps cutting me off!! I presume they are swamped with calls)

I bought a Beko fridge in Dec 2010- model number LA120W 4.8 cf. I wondered if that model was included in the recent scare about faulty thermostats. C. Harrold

HIGHLY unlikely, since models affected were manufactured between 2000 and 2006.

First step is check the serial number (Usually a silver or white sticker 2 inches by 3 inches on the left inside wall of the fridge unit. The specifications are all writen horizontally, the serial number is written vertically), if it doesn't start 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 or 06 Then you have no need to check any further.

If it DOES, or you want to make doub;y sure, please see the following:
