SOURCE: Hitachi roofing nailer leaks air

SOLVED! I replaced all the o rings put it together and air jus blew out the exhaust port. I made the mistake of pushing Piston plunger cylinder into the gun till it seated. this left a gap between the head and cylinder. I took the gun apart, removed the cylinder, an reinstalled it only far enough to seat past the o ring gasket. I then installed the head and let the head seat the cylinder as I tightened the screws. this worked on two guns with the same problem. Jn 3:17

I cant get my driver back into a nv 45ab2,,,it was kind of hard to pull out and sounded like it was compressed into it

it sounds like the shaft may be damaged, check for burs or tip wear/deformation; lubricate it well and some nailers require precise positioning of the drive to get it thru the seals. The lower seals may be damaged or out of place; brushing the shaft with synthetic steel wool would not hurt..

I have a CP-x2010 N Hitachi projector and yesterday when I tried to turn it on it started out green but the fan kept making noise like it couldn't start up all the way. A red light came on for the power...

The cooling fan can be lubricated by peeling off the round label. If the motor shaft can be seen, use a drop of sewing machine oil on the shaft. If you can't see the shaft, there is a rubber plug covering it. Use something sharp to remove it then put a drop of oil on it. This is not a permanent fix, so order a new fan and replace it when you get it.

I have a hitachi 2nd fix gas nailer and im not sure were ,and how often to apply the oil as iv managed to lose the instructions . hope you can help

Depending on how much you use the tool. Only apply oil to tool after you have given tool a strip and clean. Or for General maintence just 4 - 6 drops of oil every 3 - 4 week only if you use tool more then 3 times a week( 10,000 nails).Only on the fan assy O-rings.Remember this is only a guide. But if you need more info then try the hitachi web sit or your nearest nail gun repair agent.Good Luck

Paslode angle finish nailer the fan wont run nor will it shoot

have had the same problem! started with a noisy fan then a non responsive one. try taking out the fan assembly as per service and drop a couple of paslode lube drops along fan shaft and gently compress fan to lubricate bearing, may not be a lond term fix but hasnt stopped since and that was over 2000 2inch ago. good luck.
